It’s between the leg crossover to behind the back, then stepback. That’s almost every other stepback 3 for Harden.

To say he is incapable of that is just dumb.

 

Does Harden do that against 3 defenders? No. Again, Harden is great at iso-ball after hunting for mismatches. But improvising on the fly? Curry is easily better. If you disagree, can you provide footage supporting your assertion?

There are more videos of Harden destroying defenders than there is of Curry.

Harden isn't the Rockets. I was a Rockets fan before Harden came, and I'll be one after he's gone.

That doesn't mean I can't appreciate great players on other teams. And that doesn't mean I should let my homerism cloud my objectivity.

 

You know what would really help your argument? Some footage of Harden's ball-handling when he's forced to improvise.

 

You know what would help you? Realizing that every iso is an improvisation. You’re denigrating a player to support a false assertion.
You double down on it with one video.
There isn’t any reason for me to go do the work for you, look it up and see if Curry takes defenders as easily as Harden.
If you can’t see it after that, it’s just your bias coming through.
