I'm sure there are other threads, but this is one I remember that cover this scenario. This wasn't a close election but has an initial appearance of one due to delayed counting of millions of votes (orchestrated by GOP). He is going to b**** and moan for a while but there is no leg for him to stand on. Still, he's doing exactly what many thought he would when it's a close election (or in this case, an appearance of one). No other president would do this. And yes, he is going to lose the court cases and get walked out on Jan 20th. But is there a chance that he can steal this? It's < 1%, but it's not zero (to put in perspective, when you get infected with covid, it's a very small chance you would die, but it's not zero). It's the attempt that is very bad for the country now and its future. Now, it wouldn't be such if the DoJ and GOP in power stepped up and tell him to go take a hike. As also expected, they aren't exactly doing that. Instead, Barr has started an investigation, the PA's GOP legislative body said they will not certify the result until they finish investigating bogus fraud claims, GOP governors such as the TX gov is pouring gas into distrust of the election result, at least 1 Senator and 1 cabinet member said it's fraud and Trump will win (I don't follow that closely so perhaps more), only 4 GOP senators have congratulated Biden for his win, the GSA top official has refused to start the transition (past GSA starts the transition soon after an apparent winner to release federal fund, secure office spaces for the president elect), and so on. @Space Ghost

It's really pathetic that we have to talk to him like a fukcing 6 year old, in order for him to act like a normal person. Even if you were a staunch supporter of his for the last 4 or 5 years (including in campaign), how does this not turn you off completely to the man?
My soon to be sister-in-law was a Trump supporter and voter half a decade ago. She said the stupidity coming out of his mouth throughout the campaign alone was what turned her off from re-electing him as President. I'm glad there were some that could see the light (or in this case darkness within) but there are many staunch Trumpeteers that will not back down and believe anything and everything as if he were sh***ing gold bricks out of his anus.
