Pains me to admit it (not sure why), but thinking back......I’ve had some REALLY good food in Cali. Usually Asian.

How DARE we talk about the texas food scene and not talk about the wonder that is kemah board walk and landry's. mmmm mmm and have to been to rainforest cafe ? what a great place to throw a bar mitzvah party !

In all seriousness , Corpus Christi prolly has the best whataburgers in the state and snoopys is some excellent seafood.

Long Beach has really good Cambodian food. Something you don't really find in other state or city for that matter. The population density on southern Cali just brings a lot more diversity in food.

South Carolina not being in the top 10 is a travesty. Oh, and the lack of Maryland is total crap.

And whoever said "Florida food sucks" just might not like seafood. Same with Hawaii

Cali like Texas is a big arse state. So if criteria is not 'median' per se, but having places with good food. Because it's so damn large and city varies a lot, by population theory, I can maybe see it being a #2.

I approve Whataburgers because they sponsor Rockets games/segments.

Yeah Maryland does have good food, Italian and seafood is top notch.

I lived in Baltimore for awhile.

    Lake Trout
    Chicken Box
    Pitt beef sandwiches
My go to for cheap meals all of them top notch.

Best crabcakes I have ever had.

Pit beef and crabs is what I remember. What's a "chicken box"?

    In no particular order:

    NY
    Cali
    Texas
    Florida
    Louisiana
    South Carolina
    Maryland
    Hawaii
    Washington
    Massachusetts

It's basically a box of chicken wings with fries stuffed into all of the left over space and salt-pepper-ketchup or hot sauce over everything for 5 dollars.

Sold by Korean convenience stores and rickety restaurants.

You are to high brow to know about that.

Oh I can be quite lowbrow. That sounds awesome.

Last weekend I baked a potato, chopped up 4 spicy grilled chicken tenders, butter and cheese and onions and Cholula...and a bit of this (some people think it's weird but I love it on taters)

What's ****ing low brow about that? That sounds amazing for a quick on the go meal. Not so different than a chicken tender basket.
