JH should beg for forgiveness from Vernon. I can't trust this Utah Jazz, Trojan Horse. If he works hard and proves that he is truly dedicated to the Houston Rockets, I will grudgingly accept him. I anticipate flopping, kicking tactics from him.

I am absolutely surprised that CF brehs called him very smart.......

Let bygones be bygones, his records in Phoenix and NY did not sound optimistic.

So he will be the defensive coordinator? It's not hard to evaluate defense.

He doesn't look very smart to me either. If he can do a respectable job on defense, and help with shooting percentages, it will be more than enough for me.

Bring on the flopping drills! Dude had skillz. Maybe he can bring in Stockton, the king of flops, for a special clinic.

    Really good hire.

I can separate my hate for all things Jazz enough to embrace Jeff. (It was at it's peak back then)

He's a so so HC, but I think Horny will be more than adequate as an assistant.

I don't even care about his Jazz status, did people even watch him play? This guy was simply a solid shooter, did not really play dirty and had half of his career behind him once he joined the Jazz. My problem is his track record and I don't like just bringing in former head coaches for the sake of it. Hornacek from what I know does not bring much on defense and we need a defensive coach more than anything. Silas himself is the offensive genius and Lucas is more of a hands-on, player relationship guy who's also a veteran so I just don't get this from any angle. If someone can enlighten me, please do. I voted meh for now.

I remember him doing very well with a bad Suns team and the Knicks, well, are the Knicks.

Hornys fav song. How long before Rockets players implement feeling body parts at the free throw line? This should be a new thread.

for lof here who don’t remember, horny would rub his face as a sign of waiving to his kids.
