Of course. They are shady and there is widespread corruption. Most having to do with bribes, tax evasion and nepotism. We just ended our own populism phase, luckily just in time for someone more serious to take care of the pandemic and the war with Turkey, but ours was left wing, not right wing. They did damage to some institutions as all populists do, but not to democracy. To the judiciary system where even a murderer can vote in elections while inside the prison, and also get out in mere 10 years. Now I only have met one person in his 80s, in my life who is philomonarch.lol Even with all that with the economic crisis there was a fringe rise in nationalism that brought the fascist Golden Dawn party inside the parliament with a 7% in 2012. They were isolated by every other party who refused to cooperate with them and shunned from all the media . Just last month..in the biggest trial of fascists and nazis in this century, they have all been rounded up, trialed for participating in a criminal organisation, and ended where they belong. In prison. Only one MEP remains free who has immunity from the european parliament but Greece has asked for it to be raised. Because economic crisis gives rise to extremist views, nationalism and populism. And populists are hard to get rid of. All in all pretty well. We were considered the bad child of Europe since we had one of the first populists and also fascists in parliament but managed to get rid of them with the least damage possible. Can't say the same with Hungary and Poland. Who have now right wing populist governments who have completely corroded their justice, their media and their government. In case you didn't know there is a rise in populism and nationalism all over Europe. That's why getting rid of Trump is not ony important for America but also for the rest of the world.

I find this all funny. People are crying about Trump not conceding is a joke. Several Democrats called Trump an illegitimate president for years. Many of you said #notmypresident for years. Trumps rhetoric or “racism” just turned in to the largest minority vote since 1960. Some people see through the propaganda of the American media and some can think for themselves.
So Cruz believes ... Blacks count as 3/5 of a citizen who can not vote. Non-black women count as 100% of a citizen with no right to vote. Non-black men count as 100% of a citizen and can vote as long as they own land. Cruz is not a constitutionalist. He believes what he believes and thinks his beliefs are fully supported by the Bible and the Constitution, though he is not troubled to actually read either.
