Morey enjoyed posting empty slogans last two years. One mission Championship.
Stone is posting “achieve the unachievable motto”.

    Both GMs are “all-in”.

It’s possible that Stone wants to shed salary and then re-spend salary.

Two years ago, Morey did not trade Ariza for a pick or rookie contract to create the TPE, then Re-spend 15 million.

It seems that Stone is going to trade Gordon for TPE and then re-spend.

    Achieve the unachievable?

Too long of a slogan, I haven't seen it on any Rox page.

Is this saying a championship is unachievable?

People hate on the Ariza move but the dude was asking wildly more than what he was worth. He got an insane deal that the Rockets didn't want to match. I am sure the problem they had was their over confidence in their ability to find another good 3 and D.

So he is saying the championship is unachievable with Tilman's financial constraints and it would be a miracle if they actually achieve it.

Yeah by beef is more with the Suns for offering him absolutely insane money for an aging role player, and then us trying to replace him and Moute with James Ennis and Michael Carter Williams.

Morey told Ariza that he was not going to be back long before any other team made him an offer.

He stated he wanted to come back.

The Phx offer had nothing at all to do with his exodus.

Morey knew he didn't have any way to replace him other than Vet minimum deals.

The reason why Tilman tells his mouthpieces to repeat the same line every year is because it actually works.

"Mr. Fertitta willing to pay the lux if it means winning"

By his logic, it means we have to win the finals before he considers paying the tax but we all know most championship teams are already in the tax before winning.

This line works every year because you'll have people vehemently defending his choice of lackeys year in and out.

Silas has already gone on ESPN telling the world we're going to dethrone Lebron's Lakers next season before he's even coached a single Rockets game. This entire franchise has turned into all talk and no results ever since Tilman took over.

If I read OP's post right (“achieve the unachievable motto”), it means that Stone's focus is on coming up with one of the best mottos ever, a motto so perfect it has previously been considered unachievable.

Tilly is using his twin's basic strategy.

Repeat the same lies over and over and over ad nauseum and eventually the weak willed either stop caring or worse, actually start believing his propaganda.

There are posters on CF that practice the same tactics espousing outright fabrications and false narratives in every thread to deride players, coaches and any other members of Rockets organization simply because they believe their own lies or simply hate these entities because they run counter to their own biased personal aesthetics.

Per @heypartner and Shams both Morey and CP3 wanted a chance to match but Ariza ignored their calls.

Nope , I'm no Rockets insider ..... I just have a memory like an elephant.

Texans on the other hand , I do have multiple sauces.

There was a video interview of Ariza making these statements ....but yes , this is what I was referring to.

Morey also made a similar statement that he had told Ariza it wasn't likely he'd be brought back.
We all know the reason for that .... #17 The Luxury Tax.

I thought it was stupid then , still think it was a stupid decision .... They had no financial avenue of replacing him with a similar quality player.
