This has been my general sense of it as well. HOWEVER -- the moment you step into a Bernie, AOC, or god forbid a DSA social media circle and try to dissuade them from focusing on culture war **** they go absolutely batshit on you. Hell, Bernie just TODAY said he wants Joe Biden to focus on "equal pay for equal work/gender pay gap" (a phenomenon that's a complete myth due to people not understanding how math works) in his first 100 days. That kinda stuff makes me cringe.
Look at how establishment democrats handle GOP politicians calling progressive ideas communist. Instead of actually using time to explain how it isn't with some god damn nuance they just step away from the policy and sat "I don't believe that!" Or say "I'm not Bernie Sanders" basically conceding to the point that Bernie is a communist.

If Trump overturns this election in any fashion this country will never turn back. Because people will be beyond pissed and Trump will HAVE to go for complete dominance in order to suppress them.

Ita almost impossible with Trump’s deficit. He’d have to get 37 to do it and there are tons of blue states that have laws against it. GA is his best option (16), PA would be next, but they’ve already said no way. After that it’s Vermont, New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island as your only other choices...without PA they aren’t going to pull enough without breaking some serious bribery laws.

I've stated multiple times that Bernie is dumb for labeling himself as a democratic socialist. But his policy ideas aren't communist. The moderate establishment doesn't have to defend Bernie Sanders. They have to defend proggesive polices which they don't. When they get called communists that's when they invoke Bernie Sanders and say they aren't him instead of defending the policy position with nuance and effectiveness that pursuades the working class and persuades disillusioned apolitical citizens who are part of the core Democrat base to actually register to vote and vote in smaller elections where Democrats are horrible at turnout such as in midterms and runoffs. I have little to no confidence in the Georgia senate runoffs. Democrat voters are just not reliable in non-presidential elections.
I see a lot of conservatives referring to headlines that Gore won the presidency and all and maybe this is a repeat of that. It isn't. Gore v Bush was close enough that essentially one state decided it. That's not the case here. Biden is winning GA, PA, AZ, NV. You will have to overturn 3 state elections to overturn this election. The delusion is very strong among them...
