Please don’t misconstrue celebrating with silly gifs and memes after a major win for the country is indicative of a lack of awareness.
Yeah, I wouldn't, there's going to be some awfully upset people on the other side of this and we know they're not known for their rational reactions
On a personal note... the visiting trump supporters (my wife's brother and sister in law, joined by their two adult sons), plus my wife's mother and step dad, also trump supporters, will be at our house most of the day. I've already asked my two daughters (both voted for Biden) to avoid any political discussion. I still expect there will be lots of grousing and conspiracy comments from my wife's family, especially over dinner. I will ask that all political discussion gets put aside, but I am bet that won't last. My regret is that I won't be able to watch the President- and Vice President elect's address this evening. My belief is that they are leaving Sunday. Monday will be a new day.
I wouldn't put it that way, but thank the stars that Biden won. trump has been a catastrophe for the country that Joe Biden will spend a very large part of the next 4 years repairing. What I would really like to see would be the various political factions within and without the Democratic Party that ultimately defeated trump to take a timeout from going at each other's throat. That would be very nice indeed. We struggle to win elections against the Republican Party because we spend more time fighting each other than we do exposing just what the GOP is and then taking them apart in elections.
Also, Trump using a consumer iPhone makes it easier for them to monitor and know his every move. Also it's easy to know Trump's every move when he does whatever Putin tells him to do. With Biden it will be more difficult. Putin will try and sow more discord. We just have to see how effective that effort will or won't be.
Like Trump claimed Pennsylvania, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Michigan? There has to be a legitimate process for this like...
