and therein lies the problem - Blacks need to stop waiting for someone to do it for them. What is needed is to leverage their influence into positions of power, and have those black people do the right things (and if they dont, make an example of them.......). But they will never get such opportunities with the GOP (cos the current GOP agenda is white supremacy andminority rule), and the best choice still remains supporting the Dems.

I keep stating this. Its the most terrifying part of the last 4 years. There is something seriously wrong with the fundamental call for our country. The fact that Trump ran on a bat **** crazy narrative in 2016 and still didnt get these votes. He had to perform to this expectation in addition to calling COVID fake, state he will run for a 3rd term and state any vote not for him is fraudulent.... just to get these loonys out to vote for him. For as much as Republicans hate authoritarian and socialistic figures, they certainly are open for their guy to be one. And my concern is not coming directly from the American people. Russia and China have confirmed a gaping wound in our country. Electing a decrepit old man only confirms it. There is no victory for anyone in 2020.

That all sounds good but it ignores the fact that blacks don't even make up 15% of the nation's population. It's not a question of having somebody "do it for you", it's about getting a return on your investment (votes are political currency). You invest your money into businesses with the expectation of receiving a larger return. It's time for the Democrats to pay Black America our dividends.
