Well, Congrats if it holds through the legal battle. I'd prefer not to put the disclaimer at the end of that, but I do want to put some good will out there. WE've got some troubling issues facing our country, particularly censorship and our media. I'm not saying that because of sour grapes. It should be everyone's concern. We can tackle that in another thread at a later date. This is yawl's moment. Congrats. Do something good!!
In the last 120 years, only four elected presidents failed to win a second term, and two of those (Taft and Bush) lost three-way races where the winners (Wilson and Clinton) received 43% or less of the popular vote. Beating an incumbent president is hard. They have so much at their disposal and Trump used and abused every single power of the presidency he could to win a second term and Biden will likely finish with 306 electoral votes and a clear majority of voters backing him (at least 52%). This was a historic and embarrassing loss for Donald Trump.
Your honor, bonerdude420 asserts that he saw your mom voting twice at an illegal drop box in his bedroom.
stuff like this gets lost in shuffle but beautiful. every vote counts and you dont act like a raging dickwad
The black vote in cities turned out BIG It's too early to say if it was the reason for Biden's win, it's my initial guess though. Trump's cozying up to white nationalists did not help. His animosity towards BLM did not help. I know it's anecdotal, but I know family members that decided to get gun licenses because they were scared of what was happening in this country. A lot of folk were terrified and Trump with his inability to simply tell white supremacists that he didn't support them just was more fuel to that fear. Fear is a great motivator, as the GOP well knows. I do think there was some data before the election about race issues being on the mind of many liberal voters, I don't care to find it because the data we have in the year to come will tell the story.
the most troubling issue is how many Republicans who supposedly have morals and believe in Christian values are so willing to destroy democracy
Dude is going to have to find a new grift. I suppose he start now, get in on the ground floor. You can tell he only wants Trump to win to 'trigger da libs'.
From 538: GEOFFREY SKELLEY NOV. 6, 10:28 AM I mentioned the possible litigation over Pennsylvania mail-in votes that were cast by Election Day but didn’t arrive until afterward, and how that’s unlikely to consequentially alter Biden’s eventual lead in the state. But it’s worth reiterating that none of the ballots counted up to this point include those, so Biden has taken the lead without the inclusion of ballots that arrived after Election Day.
If Biden can end up with a greater 50K or greater margin in PA, then there's nothing the Supreme Court can do. I think the contested ballots are between 30-35k. Add in the extra to cover any irregularities in other voting. That is still possible.
They could have won in NC, and potentially Maine if they could have gotten Collins under 50%. The ground game isn't just about GOTV efforts - it's also about getting people to registering and persuading people to vote for Biden over Trump. Democrats lagged behind this year in voter registration badly by large margins - hundreds of thousands in some states - compared to what they normally do. Biden literally had 0 ground game in places like Florida until it was way too late.
EZ debunk...Texas did not finish counting...we're actually behind GA. People need to understand that a lot of states are still counting, they simply were called earlier lol. Yet look how many people fall for this.
