Understood. I'm just trying to play out the alleged fraud scheme in court. Like thousands of mail-in-ballots were stolen, fraudulently filled, then in conspiratal conjuction with letter opener workers, were allowed to pass inspection and be counted? Wouldn't the voters know if their ballots were stolen en masse?

Abrams, AOC, Harrison all have huge balls...

Keep an eye out for Seth Moulton to become a big part of the future of the party.... Michelle Wu also has a lot of charisma and ability.. Ruben Gallego and Hakeem Jeffries as well..

These are the future of the democrat party and they are more progressive and more in touch with the grassroots than Pelosi or Biden.

That’s the thing, they all have their own strengths and they don’t have to all hold the same position. As long as they’re all pulling in the same direction it doesn’t make too much of a difference. I like our younger group coming up, I can’t think of any equals on the other side.

In other words, to answer your question: nobody. Nobody has the stones that those guys had.

    Ben Sasse? ... Pshaw!
Romney carries no clout with the sycophants.
I hate to say it, but it's more up to FOX News. If all the networks call it for Biden, what will they do? Promote conspiracy lunacy or validate the election process and tell it straight? Not optimistic right now.

I think she played her cards fine... she is very ambitious. She just wasn’t ever going to be the choice of Biden because he wanted someone with more experience and someone he was familiar with.

Well said Mitt, but I don’t trust the courts and I don’t trust the highest court when it comes to this.

Perhaps Trump has some property in Delaware. Biden and the Secret Service can stay there. Might as well make a bit more $$ the next few months.

So, in my congressional district (CA39, suburban LA/Orange Counties) and the neighboring district (Orange County), the Democrats (Gil Cisneros and Harley Rouda) are narrowly trailing their GOP challengers (Young Kim, Michelle Steele, both Korean American women). However, back in 2018, Cisneros was also trailing for the first few days after the election until mail-in ballots were counted and he won narrowly after seemingly forever. I wonder how the mechanics of election this year is gonna work out. I mean, none of this is normal at either the national or the local level.

To fulfill those ambitions she needs to be on the national stage. She was never going to be VP given her limited experience and exposure, so her best play was the senate, with a cabinet position as backup. House is too low and volatile for her imo

If she (and not Ossof) had run against Perdue, she would likely have taken him to the cleaners, and possibly dragged the second senate seat across 50% as well.

The best she can hope for now is that Biden wins and she gets a cabinet position, but she still needs that senate or governorship (both will be on the ballot on 2022 iirc) to push her onto the national stage.

He spent this whole year raging against mail in ballots and the reason for this is pretty obvious to me.

So here are three stages of his plan...this is a longish post but...what else you gonna do? Wait for Nevada to finish counting?

    Stage One.
He knew Liberals and moderates ARE actually worried about Covid, he isn't. He let the Dems social distance, wear masks, while he stubbornly made sure his people saw that he wasn't scared of it. So the part of this is of course suppression. Hoping he can invalidate mail in ballots knowing they'd be mostly blue. I think there was a bit more strategy to his stubbornness against Covid. He was emboldening his supporters to come out and vote in person and hoping dems/moderates were too scared to risk Covid to do it.

Maybe it sounds a little too elaborate for Trump, but he's a con man at heart, always has been, always will be. It's a basic con to give someone a losing hand of cards and that's what he tried to do to Democrats. If he can make mail in ballots illegitimate in PA, he wins PA easily as we see. Same for Wi, Mi, and any key state right now. Democrats/Moderates clearly did not want to risk getting covid for in person voting. So if he even creates enough doubt that you can't vote through mail then maybe you just stay home instead of risk it?

The problem is...he couldn't legally invalidate mail-in ballots before the election, and he couldn't cast enough doubt against them, if he had, we would have seen a MASSIVELY red map. It wasn't the best of plans because there's just no grounds to invalidate mail in ballots, but we saw this coming miles away when he started complaining about them.

    Stage Two
A lawyer on CNN said that these lawsuits in PA might just be Trump trying to delay the count there and the inevitable call for Biden to be president.

So, I'm going to try and get into his head a bit, try to figure out what is trump's obsession with WHEN states are called? It's odd, you don't really see candidates grumble about it but it is the heart of Trump's argument.

Trump REALLY cares about when states are called, otherwise he would not have cared that much about when they were called night 1. He complained all Tuesday night about why they weren't calling this or that state earlier or why they called this or that state early for Biden. Again, it really is irrelevant when Arizona is called, if FOX/AP get it wrong, that's on them, it doesn't affect votes in PA if AZ is called one day before it. As another poster said, the election is over, we're just learning the results. It's not like momentum exists and Biden picking up AZ created momentum for him to win Nevada. The only reason he cares is because of perception.

I think his plan was to go into night 1 with a decisive victory just so that night 2, when more votes were to inevitably come in, he could better sell his "I won and they took it away narrative!" and since the end of night 1 we were basically told things could change tomorrow, that's when he started throwing his fit.

He had his press conference then, asking why they haven't called PA, Mi, Wi, GA, because if they did for him then he'd been declared the winner night 1 and then, with Trump declared winner and more votes coming in his call to stop the counting seems legit. "Hey, why is Mi and Wi blue? I won those last night! I'm president already!" that was his first news conference. "I already won! I won already!" He needed to set that perception and sell it to America and of course his base...but it's hard to sell that to sane people if the Press isn't playing along.

The press didn't call em and it threw a wrench in that plan. So day 2 he comes out like a mad man, claiming states he hadn't won because his whole plan relies on him being ahead and perhaps hoping Biden concedes and everyone just assumes he won before the mail-in ballots come in.

    Stage Three
So, if Biden wins, we'll see stage three of his plan, his hail mary. This involves never conceding and dragging out this election as long as possible. Depending on how many states Biden wins and how he wins them, the courts won't help him much if Biden has a 40k lead in PA for instance and he's also won NV and AZ.

Even still, he's going to drag it out for as long as possible. We've seen Trump's history with legal battles and he's not going to treat this any differently.

I don't think the electors will be faithless, but Trump will do everything in his power to keep his power, so he's going to try and drag this out as long as possible and hope something comes up. It's like being down 10 and fouling, you just hope something goes your way before time runs out and once/if Biden is declared winner, the time starts clicking for him to steal it away.

I really can't see any way he can so instead he'll do all he can to make sure Biden seems like an illegitimate president and rile up his base and who knows what comes of that...

Did he think of these plans months ago, no, but part 1 he was clearly trying to cast doubt on mail-in ballots, after that he improvised. But i think when it comes to his cons, he's very calculating.

Screw Mitt. He was the one that voted for a complete Trump lackey in the highest court. He gets no credit whatsoever. He is partly responsible.
