Pelosi’s got too much support from the old timers like her. Doubt it changes unless she wants it to. Would love to see Marcia Fudge in Ohio get a chance; she wants the job, but can’t get through the blockade. My guess is that Adam Schiff may end up with it with the way he’s performing in his committee...once Pelosi steps down in 4-8 years. He, supposedly, isn’t trying for the job, but is very much in line with those that have power.
Pelosi is a convenient prop, but with the way Trump dragged down Whitmer within a week, AOC and Illan Ohmar are obvious replacement effigies if Nancy steps down. I wonder what the reasoning behind that is...
The job is basically given to the best fundraiser. Find that person and you're about 80% of the way there.
Would love a photoshop of McConnell's face and Trump's face here to share on Facebook. Anyone with the skills?
Anyone get dyslexia episodes looking at the numbers? I get excited for a split second then realize my eyes are playing with me lol.
I think Ro Khanna is the best pick to replace. You just don’t want the speaker to be such a distracting character. Running for President... AOC would be great. Her ability to drive media is fascinating when thinking about her future if she runs.
Before 2007, most of America would scoff at the thought of a black president. It took the right man to break through. Its going to take the right woman. Too many voters are going to be turned off to the Pelosi/Hillary types. And I dont think Americans would respect the Jacinda Ardern types. I dont think Obama stepped up with the idea it was time for a black man to take the reigns. Im not suggesting that it didn't play a role in him getting elected. Hillary absolutely thought she was entitled.
