It's always been entertainment for me. JFK is one my favorite movies but I can't stand Oliver Stone's politics. I can re-watch that move any time it comes on. The dude just went to the pizza parlor on the wrong day
whatever math or science a rando says on FB, Twitter, or whatever dark corners of the internet they go to is what they believe and is valued over actual professionals because they’re part of the deep state or traffic children if somebody said 80% of the things these people believe to me in real life, I’d mark them as a potential school shooter and cease all contact because the mofo is crazy
He'll prob lie about it, claimed he tried, but Joe was sleeping in his bunker. So now Trump president for life since Joe didn't accept his call. No takesies backsies.
Word on the Street is that Trump will take a sharpie to his birth certificate and will be 48 for the next election ... and chance his name to Donald K Trump so that he will be eligible for two more terms.
100x this. ACA is a plan that would benefit black people but it's not directly targeting black people. Easily affordable higher education would benefit black people but it's not directly targeting black people. These are just general plans that would help anyone that is poor and of course unfortunately most poor people are black. Trump's plan is directly targeting black people. Of course, I doubt there is any real intention on getting anything done and if passing these plans is unpopular to the rest of his base (It will be...) then they are never going to pass. Mitch and the current GOP are not passing out any benefits to poor people, they haven't done that in years I doubt they do it now.
I want Fox to call it...oh the drama that will come...another full meltdown from Trump if Fox calls Nevada today...
If she had run for senate: 1) I think it would have boosted Biden to a win in GA (which could still happen) 2) Race would definitely have come down to a run-off, and I'd feel a lot better about her and Warnock's chances in January than I do with Ossoff & Warnock.
I think WI also allows same day. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure several states allow for it. I understand what the allegation is. And to that I'd say prove it, which is what I believe most of the folks in here would also say. I think the tweet I saw said there was a disproportional amount of same day registrations. If that's the case, I'm sure someone will take a look at it to see if there's any funny business going on. A lot of people were motivated to vote this year. So same day makes sense. I don't recall the numbers though.
This is my original quote: "And that guy parades around clamoring for more mass shutdowns and raising taxes for small businesses when people are losing everything because of it?" I guess I should have worded it "And that guy parades around clamoring for more mass shutdowns when people are losing everything because of it and and raising taxes for some small businesses that may need that extra income to recover when this is finally over in, what, mid-late 2021? Maybe?" Does that make you happier? Regardless, your statement that he isn't raising payroll taxes period, and that it was completely made up, is a blanket statement and completely false.
Will the military vote break for Biden or Trump? Not one of the Big Brass denied Trump's disrespect for the military. But will that make a difference? Keeping in mind, lots of people who should know better went and voted for Trump. Counties with high 'rona rates broke big for Trump. I was in the military (88-93) and I remember the looks I'd get when someone found out I leaned Democrat. Some dude was like, "But you sound so, uh, you talk so...." He wanted to say that because I was articulate, I couldn't possibly be a Democrat.
