I think Biden just needs to keep it close there and continue what he's doing in Tucson which has 12% left to count, not sure how many votes that is but Biden is winning big there.

CNN says Biden needs 40-42% to win AZ.

Yes, we will see. Looking at the numbers, it is going to be hard for Biden.

99% votes counted and Biden by 3%.... unless the AP is wrong on the numbers, Biden has carried AZ

Are we sure about this? Cause the SOS was on CNN saying things still have to be counted?

New Mexico and Colorado broke for Biden by the same % as New York State.

This feels like a very 21st century swing to me -- kinda surprising overall. Maybe Arizona will slowly join that club.

One thing I’m starting to get a kick out of is after 6 months of my entire Facebook feed saying “Biden spent 40+ years in government and did nothing, you really think he is going to do something now?” It is now overflowing with posts about how Biden being elected would be the end of America. How he is going to change everything that makes America great.

He went from completely worthless to the most dangerous man in the country’s history in one night.

The West/Southwest is shifting towards democrats and the population is changing. A lot of liberal long term Hispanics and also fairly liberal whites have moved in.

I think we are starting to see the beginning of cracks in the Northeast as well, I think they are going to be more competitive for Republicans.

Some takeaways even without knowing the result.

The Midwest is fertile ground for both sides.

Florida is getting more red as Texas continues to move at a slow pace towards blue.

Whichever candidate can come up with a message that addresses both the concerns of the urban and rural will have an excellent chance of victory in future elections. I don't think a candidate has to promise everything to everybody, but they do need to show that they are listening to the concerns of both demographics. If Biden wins, I hope that he starts making a publicized effort to show that he shares the concerns of middle American and the rural voters. If Trump wins, he will only continue to try and benefit himself.
