Given how close the race has turned out in several states Biden reiterating his commitment to renewables was a good move. It didn’t help in TX but might’ve helped in other states. TX was always going to be a stretch to win anyway
I think Trump masterfully pigeonholed the Lincoln Project as being bitter RINOs so they did little damage. What the Lincoln project did though was produce the most biting attack ads to rile up the anti Trump coalition.

Keeping an eye on Georgia and Brian Kemp. If Biden needs Georgia and that’s the state that get Biden over 270 for some reason I’d fully anticipate antics from GA to not certify if theres a hint of anything they can claim as fraud. PA is another with having the state house held by GOP. Not sure if they have the power to withhold electors or not. But having a Dem SOS helps.
I think it helped him with the margins of giving progressives a reason to vote for him than just against Trump. It likely was part of the deal between Biden and Sanders. Biden had already said he wanted to see fracking end and push renewables. The debate wasn’t the first time he said that
I am sure it’s strategic so that it is either the whole result or Biden is up so they can’t sue and make the counting stop.
Now is not the time to pick fights with those who have joined your coalition in a common cause. Without them, Trump might have easily gotten an even higher percentage of those Republican voters. Any Republican they can steer away from voting for Trump counts double. Not sure what impact, if any, Democratic Socialists had in getting people to vote for Biden who wouldn't have done so anyway.
