I liked Pete Buttigieg, but he probably wouldn’t have won either. His personality seems to rub a lot of people the wrong way.

I think Andrew Yang would have been an interesting choice. He had the sort of politics that can have wide appeal, IMO.

How is that a fail by the Dems?

It's a fail by the people who believed that BS Trump was putting out.

I'm surprised you would say that.

Watching the Trumpkins do the same mental gymnastics Hillary supporters were doing 4 years ago is something.

    How the turn tables.

I agree with this. He's smart and would know how handle himself in a debate as well.

Yes he's a "outsider businesman" but a competent well educated one unlike the current lame duck president.

And then when leadership and prominent Dems are asked about it...

They don't shoot it down. They were terrified of losing black voters (which it looks like they lost anyway...) so they skirt around it.

"Oh, defund the police doesn't literally mean that haha, it just means that..." kind of replies when it should have been. "Absolutely not, we're not defunding the police, we need our men in uniform to protect our civilians, and that includes providing them with a fair trial and not playing executioner in the street."

So many Dems seemed to skirt around that and it stuck.

Im more confident because the remaining votes are from Malcomb county which Biden should out perform.

    What does it matter?

Trump got elected the same way, the lesser of 2 evils.

But they haven't lost well educated voters forever. Educated suburban voters in many states went for Trump.

I would kill to have Yang in Office. One of the rare guys that could bring people together.

Kind of the issue with a lot of top Dem candidates...they don’t really hold office or have experience. Pete is a former a Mayor, Yang had no experience, Abrams ran for governor and got screwed. Where are the governors, the Senators, the Reps at...people say Obama, but at least he was elected Senator first. People want that experience and that name value...Dems are short on that (unless Kamala becomes something as VP).

Fox News, surprisingly, has been the best and earliest at calling races, whether for Biden or Trump. They called AZ super early last night and then had their data scientist come on TV and defend the decision basically guaranteeing AZ would be for Biden.

Literally on CNN they were just saying I believe that Gideon could still win.

I have no idea why Dems concede so early in elections, nothing is lost if you wait till Friday, chill the F out.

Seriously, all the bickering is just exhausting.

But we all know it will start up again after not too long, once people recover from this election.
