I don't see how are re-count for Wisconsin should take that long. They were able to count all their votes within 24 hours or so, right considering they just started counting yesterday.
Honestly we just had all of Little Havana convinced that Biden - JOE BIDEN, lifelong Septugenarian corporate democrat - was a socialist, and you think Bernie, who literally got into trouble for praising - for some insane reason - Fidel Castro after his first primary win, is gonna do better there? LOLOLOLOL. Anyway, it's black voters in Detroit and Philly who are providing the clinching margin for Biden right now and who are making a game of it in GA, and you're telling me that they don't matter.
I think this hurts your point. If they label Joe socialist, does it matter? Bernie would obviously be labeled socialist but he'd be a far more effective campaigner with more energy and far more capable of expressing his ideas rather than stuttering and spamming platitudes while not having all the negative history with things like the crime bill and the Iraq War vote or a kid who does business with foerign oil companies So any Democrat candidate is going to be labeled a Maoist. So why not have the one who excited the base more?
I agree that the structural quirk allows them to get fewer votes and maintain power...but that quirk isn't going to change until the Dems actually have the power to change it. So yeah, the Dems get way more voters, but not where it helps them. A lot of that rust belt and places like Ohio just vote on the economy. Most people vote on the economy and people think by default for some reason that the GOP is better at managing the economy. We know that's not true, but people think it's true. Biden probably holds on here... but this is a blowout I think if he had sold a DNC economy better. I mean, someone pointed it out, I'll have to find the tweet, but DEEP RED places are for Healthcare for all...yet they vote deep red. I'm not sure how, I'm no politician, but the Dems have to find some way to bleed some of these voters off.
Democrats over reliance on turning Florida blue is dumb. Forget about Florida. It's red move the hell on. Bernie's campaign manager wrote a whole book on this stuff. You just have to go and meat Latinos and Hispanics where they are and explain. That's it, that's all he did to get Bernie such a huge lead with Latinos and Hispanics. Biden didnt go to Florida and meet Cubans at all. Biden is winning by the skin of his teeth with anemic minority numbers because republicans are massively racist. Imagine a scenario where the democratic base has something to actually vote for. Biden lost more Black, Hispanic and Latino voters than Hilary. How can you reconcile that?
Democrats and the media conceded on Trump's claim that the "economy was the best ever before COVID". That is a problem with old corporate dems. They have the same problem as the GOP does where all they care about is gdp growth numbers and unemployment numbers and pretend everything is hunky dory.
and if it’s Kamala in 2024, I will be very worried unless the Biden admin kills these next 4 years which no one really expects and she just has all sorts of momentum and goodwill built up

This. 100x. The Green New deal has been destroyed. The Dems have to show a better way to sell this to people, the GOP flips it on them and uses the Dems OWN plans to bludgeon them. EVEN when those things are popular, like ACA, they labeled it "Obamacare" and tied it to Obama, then they started the whole birther/racist thing and so they successfully tied a health care plan that their own voters actually support to a black man then played up racial animus and what do you know...now their voters with a passion hate 'Obamacare' (because anything to do with that obummer is bad!) but actually like the ACA...

How is choosing Kamala Harris as your running mate pandering to moderate Republicans? That is a major issue and can not be discounted.
