Oh, I follow too many sports but I thought incoming and outgoing salaries still had to be within a certain threshold.

No way Harden signs off on that trade.

I don't need randle. I just need the assets to flip for me to be happy!

He started playing well once Miller took over. In fact, he had two fantastic games against us. I was high on him after his year at Duke and still am.

Only way I accept this is to expand the trade:

    NYK: Russ Westbrook, Ben McLemore
ORL: Julius Randle, Reggie Bullock, Austin Rivers (opt in) + Knicks FRP
    PHX: Dennis Smith, Eric Gordon
HOU: Aaron Gordon, Bobby Portis, Mo Bamba, Kevin Knox + Knicks FRP (does not have to be 8th pick)

    6'5 Harden/House
    6'7 Oubre (24)/Nwaba
    6'7 RoCo/6'7 Knox (21)
    6'8 AG (25)/PJ
    6'10 Portis (25)/Mo Bamba (22)

    Or better yet:

    NYK: Russ Westbrook, Doug McDermott
    MIA: Victor Oladipo, Ben McLemore
ORL: Myles Turner, Kelly Olynyk, Dennis Smith
IND: Julius Randle, RJ Barrett, Al-Farouq Aminu, Danuel House
HOU: Aaron Gordon, Tyler Herro, Bobby Portis, Mo Bamba, Kendrick Nunn

    6'5 Harden/Nunn (25)
    6'5 Herro (20)/EGo
    6'7 RoCo/Nwaba
    6'8 AG (25)/PJ
    6'10 Portis (25)/Mo Bamba (22)

    MLE: 6'8 Josh Jackson (23)

I believe NYK already declined his team option.

Guys I have not slept a wink since cuff wrote that tweet. The HUGE news should be here imminently.

The Rockets, and the NBA as we know it, will be forever changed. I hope you all are ready.

Russ for PG and Beverly works but you can’t really have Covington and George unless Covington or Tucker come off the bench. You can’t start PJ at the 5 anymore.

    Bev
    Harden
    George
    Covington
    Free agent center

    Rivers
    Gordon
    Mclemor
    Gerald Green?
    Tucker

This isn’t 2k. You want a first year GM to facilitate a 5 team trade?

I might have Bev come off bench instead of EGo.

    MLE options:

    6'10 Harry Giles (23)
    7'0 Meyers Leonard (28)
    6'10 Aron Baynes (33)
6'10 Bobby Portis (25) - if NYK declines option
    6'11 Nerlens Noel (26)
    6'9 Bismack Biyombo (28)

But there might be bidding war for Baynes, Portis, Leonard - stretch 5's.

This article really makes me wish we had Nick Nurse as Rockets HC, his philosophy is exactly in line with Rockets 5 out and switch everything except he loves long players and adjusts for opponent and his own personnel.

in this dream scenario I'd definitely have Bev come off the bench. This is a lethal lineup and if you can fill that big man spot with at the very least someone solid, it becomes that more dangerous

    Harden
    pg13
    RoCo
    PJ
    Big

Need at least 1 more ball handler in that starting 5.

Harry Giles fits best with that group.

Although in perfect world, PJ is rotation player and comes off bench too.

I thought about that too but the good thing is pg13 is capable of being that other ball handler just in case. just another reason why he fits well next to harden

He better put on his big boy pants then, 5 team trades are a Morey specialty.

And Stone is supposedly the trade negotiations master.
