    I guess I will enjoy the inevitable tax cuts while hanging my head in shame over the absurd amount of debt my grandkids will have to deal with.

    The only thing I'm sure of nowadays is that I'll never be able to dunk again. From like age 17-20, I could do a thing that just barely qualified as a dunk. For a long time I've told myself that this could be the case again. But now approaching mid-30s, I have now accepted that this will never happen.

    Does seeing the 4k furniture set every day help change it ?

    Seriously though, I grew to distrust nyt and wapo after 2016 but there aren't that many exhaustive and hard hitting sources that are constantly reliable. Access is incredibly important in this day and age.

    It's quite a pickle but I don't have much time or effort to invest other than not reacting to every thing at that moment.

    At most, I make a crude or snarky comment and hopefully move on from the narrative. If the news is huge and unavoidable, I'll put on my hazmat and read what trough the repugs are feeding off of.

    I am 43 and haven't dunked on a 10' goal in 15 years. Still pretty athletic but 10' seems so much higher than it used to.

    I lost a dollar in middle school betting on Clayton Williams (black with immigrant parents, and pro-choice after watching the Holly Hunter tv movie, so this was a business decision), and just got back to doing the running man to "I'm the Maginificent" anytime it came on.
