Election Day 2020

NYT on Michigan:. Trump currently leads by just over 26K votes but so far, Trump leads in one county won by Clinton in 2016 where reporting is mostly complete, while one county flipped to Biden. According to turnout estimates, around 500,000 votes remain in counties won by Hillary Clinton in 2016. Trump 2016 counties have around 170,000 votes left to report.

 

I'm looking at Pennsylvania SOS website and if 2.2m mail ins were casted, they only counted about 1 million and Joe Biden has a nearly 4:1 advantage there. If that holds true, the lead in Penn will definitely evaporate for Trump.

 

The person I originally responded to said “legalize” which is a different proposition then decriminalize.

 

What? You do know this is on the state legislators ,mostly Republican, that voted to not start counting mail in ballots early like Florida right?

There is a record number of mail in ballots this election cycle that by state law enacted by GOP state legislators in many of these states could only be counted after the in-person ballots are finished counting.

People need to sleep. This was always going to be the case because of a record amount of mail in votes. I even posted a thread a month back about the "red Mirage" where it will appear that Trump is winning on election day because mail in ballots haven't been counted yet in many swing states.

 

I wonder what caused the giant early morning drop.

So Biden could still lose Nevada?

But if he wins Nevada, Michigan and Wisconsin, he has won it?

I want them to hurry up counting - this is a real nailbiter.

 

the "sad" part is they dont notice it and recognize on any level..

they could be given a hammer & sickle, a bottle of smirnoff and front row seats to the fiddler on the roof and they wouldnt bat an eye

 

Biden received a ballot dump in Wisconsin that was 93% to 7%.

That seems a little ridiculous.

That makes sense if it's in a blue district where most Democrats mail in voted.

Almost all ballots counted today in these swing states that haven't been called yet are mail in ballots. And most of those votes are going to be Biden votes because his party encouraged mail in ballots for multiple months after Covid hit.

 

Lots of things "seem" ridiculous in this election

 

Michigan is going blue. That's basically 270.

 

Imagine a district that polls 4 to 1 for Biden.

Now imagine it's mail-in ballots from that district, where Democrats overwhelmingly participated via mail compared to Republicans, compounding on top of the fact the district itself votes largely for Biden.

You can easily get that ratio.

 

This is so annoying. If they just count the votes early then we could all get sleep and be in the same place now.

 

Trump is not going to be happy when he wakes up in the morning

if we are doing reforms there needs to be more eligible people voting

 

And remember that mail in ballots are still arriving in PA.

Same is true for NC. Who knows how many will come in.
