Well said and I feel very true. So many of the GOP base just vote straight GOP no matter what. My wife sadly is one of them. Love her to death, just not on her voting record. What's a populist? Sorry I've heard the term but don't know what it is.

It makes me genuinely sad for our country when people are so blind to their party, that they cannot think for themselves. If I can switch from being a GOP voter, than surely more people than myself can have a reality check too and switch. Nope.

Funny how Houston pretty much went for the same percentage for Biden than it did in 2016 for Clinton. Nobody gave a **** about how the republicans were trying to steal votes. Like my previous thesis that the new era of politics will be hyper-partisanship. The GOP base does not give a **** what their leaders do as long as they are vicious and proud of it. They will vote for their leaders and come out in droves for their leader.

The dems walk a fine line while trying to please 10 different functions while pleasing nobody entirely and pissing off half the base. Hilarious but sad

That doesn't surprise me. Told my wife based on my Clutchfans brothers here that this **** would drag on a while. In Clutchfans I trust for my political news. It's the only place I get a love for sports mixed with my disdain for GOP sheep. Sheep only. I don't hate all GOP voters.

This is the craziest election, as we thought.

Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Arizona, North Carolina, all still in play.

Could end up being 269-269 or it could be something crazy like 340-198.

I want to say Biden is still likely to win, but honest money says I have no idea.

The possibility of a strong Biden win is STILL possible. I know it doesn't seem like it and I'm not saying that's what will happen...but this election is quite different from past ones since the mail in ballots are so numerous and are the last to be counted Biden could still end up winning NV, AZ, WI, MI, and GA and have his 300 EC win.

Again, I'm not saying this will happen just that this election is different because of mail-in ballots. If they weigh strongly enough for Biden, then he could still have his strong win.

This is one of the few times I would have liked to see someone disqualified because they had Covid shortly before an election.

    Nevermind. Baleet this.

These may be old. I'm not sure how often these are updated.

I do believe Biden will prevail but man the Dems absolutely dropped the ball on the Senate. It's looking like at best it will be a split chamber.

I’m pretty sure Biden’s winning. Lot of votes to be counted that are mail and from cities that are gonna go heavily Dem.

Good chance Dems keep the Senate seat in Michigan (even though Peters is trailing now). Should be a sign of where the votes are going to come from.

Collins not having 50% of the vote in Maine right now is also probably a good sign for Dems. If she can’t reach 50%, it goes to ranked choice. Lot of votes to get counted there though.

NC is a toss up for both President and Senate. Biden only down 75K while Cunningham down 100K. Basically have mail-in ballots to count which will be heavy Dem.

Wisconsin is basically Green Bay left which will go heavy Biden. He’s already up there so he’s probably won.

Dems probably have to win what could be one of two toss-ups in GA to at least get 50 in Senate. Perdue may hold on to 50%, but if votes are truly from cities, my guess is he drops under 50% and may actually lose outright.

Still a lot of votes to get counted.

The fact that it's Wednesday morning and the senate and presidency are still yet to be decided by mail-in ballot is the nightmare scenario. The door is wide open for interference from Republicans and if they walk through it there will be riots for weeks if not months. Trump already flirting with it by declaring victory.

Just gonna ignore how almost all of his important policies were rejected by the GOP senate or later reversed?
Republicans blaming Obama for a lack of change are as blatantly dishonest as it gets.

Not sure “dropped the ball” is the right terminology...before COVID, Republicans were likely to only lose 1 seat at most. It was still a tough map for Dems.

2022 will be highly favorable to Dems as they likely pick up 2 seats (PA and WI) and probably more (Burr retiring in NC, Grassley possibly retiring in IA, one of the seats in GA up again, etc). Lot depends on what happens in next 2 years though.

True, but that’s the US right now. This was the expectation and why Trump was making a big stink before yesterday. Have to hope the adults in the room do their jobs...if not, country is effed.

The thought of having to make sure Joe Manchin approves of everything the Democrats want to do is nauseating.
