I read a Guardian article today that said Populists always stay in power twice as other politicians. If Trump loses tonight he will be the only populist right winger who has stayed so little time in power. Go America! Lead the way for the world.
Honestly, I am surprised he's been quiet. IF the map ends how it is tonight, he wins. I'm guessing they'll wait to see if they will win those states or not and then start up their mess.
Ok guys I'm gonna go to bed. Again sorry if I came off as an ass, I really don't mean to. I want Trump to win, but if Biden wins he has my full support. Above all I am American.
Looks like Tillis is holding on. Even with moving CO, AZ, and ME to Democrats they are likely going to be one vote short.
Both parties are confident they will do well in AZ. Early tonight Republican operatives were confident what happened in Florida with Hispanics would happen in Nevada... then Arizona happened and it appears that CUBANS flipped and not Mexicans... so Dems should be favored in Nevada. It looks like Biden can get Pennsylvania. Can he get Wisconsin or Michigan? He needs one... there are still whites in rural areas in places like Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana that like Trump’s immigrant platform because they think less labor competition.
Regardless of what happens this election, are the Democrats gonna continue with these old, washed politicians? How do they feel knowing Trump would likely landslide them if not for Covid-19? If you are losing twice to someone like Trump, then the heads of the party should be getting tossed into the dumpster out back. Who are their strategists?
Without COVID Trump would have won fairly easily. Incumbents almost always win and Trump is a populist and had a strong economy... in America you can overcome almost anything with a strong economy as President.
Biden was always a compromise candidate. The Democratic party is too ideologically divided to get behind a Sanders, Warren or Klobuchar.
I doubt it. Just because they had some cult following doesn't mean most of the country would've followed them and we never saw what Republican attacks would've been leveled on them.
And even if Trump loses, so much for the GOP throwing Trump under the bus and changing guard completely.
This is why for months I was saying that this race was going to be much closer than what a lot of people thought.
