Senate doesn’t matter in regards to this. Supreme Court...we’ll see. They’d have to overrule laws on the books to stop those votes from being counted. Not saying they wouldn’t, but a lot has to happen to get there.
When I heard the concept of "red mirage" used it was specifically with respect to Pennsylvania, and was sold as (red) in person voting being counted by tonight, with the (blue) mail in ballots getting counted after. Not sure how true it is, but that is how it was presented.
The biggest issue I have is Trump didn’t even try to win. Actually I don’t think you could have done more to try and lose..... and we are at such a point where as long as you play identity politics with white grievances and as long as you have Fox News ... you can literally take a sh$t on the Lincoln memorial and still win. What a sad state our country is in.
There were plenty of media predictions calling it a Biden landslide. The betting odds this morning were heavily in Biden's favor, they have flipped in the last hour.
Trumps lead growing in Ohio is bad news for Biden across the rest of the Midwest. It's at +7 right now and needs to get down to 5+ or lower by final count.
Right now, if you look at all the local elections in PA, they're fairly tight, but Republicans are winning them all. I think that says something about mail in ballots in a swing state.
Dude, Trump was campaigning after testing COVID positive. I'm pretty damn sure he was trying hard to win. Some people care more about the economy and no matter how y'all want to spin it, prior to COVID Trump's economy was doing relatively well. If it wasn't for COVID, Trump was likely going to win easily.
So even if Biden were to flip Iowa, North Carolina and Arizona - not enough yet. Needs one more state, and needs to defend all 2016 states.
Biden flippin Iowa is doubtful. The state by state chart in link does it more justice.. Pennsylvania Lean D Secretary of the Commonwealth Kathy Boockvar has said that she expects “the overwhelming majority” of votes will be counted by Friday, Nov. 6. Officials cannot begin to process mail ballots until Election Day, and if there are a significant number of mail ballots outstanding at the end of the night, the reported totals could be relatively stronger for Mr. Trump. Some counties plan to finish reporting in-person votes before beginning to count mail ballots. 8 p.m. Varies by county. Ms. Boockvar has said that in order to prevent large swings in results, she is asking counties to report mail votes routinely instead of all at once. Yes, by Nov. 6 (but the Supreme Court may consider a Republican challenge to this date after the election). Reporting will vary by county. Yes, if voter does not surrender mail ballot. Reviewed within seven days. Wisconsin Lean D Gov. Tony Evers has said he expects to know the results on election night, or by the day after at the latest. The elections director in Milwaukee County, which officials say has the potential to be the latest to report, said that results could take until between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. Wednesday. 9 p.m. No order in most places, but in-person votes could come first in 39 municipalities that count absentee ballots separately (including Milwaukee). No No
white men returning back to the democratic party Alt-Right leader and founder Richard Spencer endorsed Joe Biden
They had someone on TV saying that mail in ballots for Biden has been overstated in a lot of states as a lot of old people voted by mail due to COVID and older people are breaking for Trump 55/45...so the mail ballots have been closer than expected
Entertaining to say the least. If Biden wins, we will all get up and go to work in the morning. Trump can say he worked harder, win or lose.
Biden can lose both Penn and Ohio and still win if he holds onto Arizona and win what he is supposed to win. It's razor thin now. no landslide. Trump still has to run the table. Democrats botched this one again. but what else is new? Dems lose A LOT
