If Senate becomes more contested than predicted, Republican control that would also affect the markets.
Right. I’m optimistic with all deals they’ve been inking left and right. That share offering from a while back must have caused a big panic I guess combined with so many teams testing positive for covid. Let’s see how ER shakes out
WTH? Ant Group’s record $34.5 billion IPO in Shanghai and Hong Kong suspended The Shanghai Stock Exchange said Ant Group reported “significant issues,” which means it may not meet the conditions for listing or “information disclosure requirements.” https://www.cnbc.com/2020/11/03/ant-group-ipo-in-shanghai-suspended.html
I cashed out of Amazon a few days ago hoping to buy back in cheaper. I cant bring myself to pull the trigger though, I feel like the bottom could be lower across the board, but ****, nobody knows. I don't think you can go wrong buying it in the mid-run.
I'm sitting in the pocket on this, looking downfield, begging for a first down, but the sack is coming. Lulz on me.
the CCP’s not-so-subtle reminder to Jack Ma as to who is in charge. It is analogous to the Trump admin going after Jeff Bezos/AMZN/WaPo
Wow. This market is accelerating gains into the close. My only disappointment is in the Chinese government right now. lol.
The only thing i can think is that money managers and people in the know have a good idea that Trump is going to win.
We're about to settle one of the biggest variables in the stock market -- the election. Which also could mean we're one step closer to resolution on variable #2 - a stimulus package. The last, and possibly biggest variable, COVID is still out there. People have been piling into what they think will be stocks/sectors that will be good for a Biden vs. Trump win. Now watch it all sell off again. lol. (j/k... I don't know) As if on cue, right after I posted that, the market sold off a little before the close. It was up 700+ when I posted that. lol.
It has less to do with who is going to win than "thank God this crap is almost over". lol. Of course we may end up with some debate over whether it's really over or not. If they really thought Trump was certain to win, you wouldn't see across-the-board movement in stocks and sectors. People are getting into various things. We'll see what they do tomorrow.
if anything, this is an indication of being bullish on clean environment/ renewable energy, the antithesis of what a Trump presidency would be
