Another thing I found about Florida during my first election here.... The judges that the governor appoints to the SC and district court can be voted out during the election after their first full year, otherwise they serve out their term. It's called "merit retention". No judge has ever been voted out.
I will check in right before I go down at ~10:45pm. I'll be busy watching a sci-fi show because that is preferable to the real-world show.
The website is "joe is done"? Sounds pretty reputable Also does this take into account the thousands of Republicans that are going to vote Biden?
If you can find a livestream of PBS or listen on NPR, that's your best bet as others have said. If you feel like watching a **** show, feel free to tune in to CNN or Fox, I'm sure it won't disappoint.
That really doesn't mean anything at....... 9:15 am on election day, but thanks for the update. It is an important state for Trump, he loses in a land slide without it...... but really early results really do not mean much, if anything.
People enjoy procrastinating. It's part of human nature. I try my best to avoid procrastinating, but I still do it every once in a while. Voting during a pandemic though, I went to a nice empty gym the first weekend it was open.
Let's see if higher turnout does mean that democrats will win. If Biden doesn't win, I can be more at ease if Democrats are able to overtake Senate. Crossing my fingers. As far as local elections, I'm hoping democrats take the House and are able to gain a couple of seats in the Texas Supreme Court.
This is like only the 2nd time I've ever voted early. I kind of enjoyed voting on election day (previously, pre-pandemic, pre-Trump). But, I am easily entertained.
