Trump intends to nominate Amy Coney Barrett for Supreme Court

Barrett was voted in 52-48. 1 Republican did vote against Barrett - Susan Collins of Maine. Murkowski voted against Barrett to advance Barrett's nomination, but in the end did change her vote. Just my opinion, Democrats did not make a case against Barrett's qualifications.

If her qualifications were such a sticking point, they should have gone after that. But they didnt, cuz they wouldn't be able to refute her knowledge and ability to serve. It's kinda how it works in the court of law - make your case and let the chips fall where they may. Democrats didn't make their case.... rather, they didnt even try to make a case against her qualifications.

That would be similar to how the GOP made their case against Garland's qualifications, or the other numerous judicial nominations they sat on and let lapse.

I'm a Democrat and I still like Amy Coney Barrett. She just removed herself from the boat that allowed Pennsylvania and another state to extend absentee ballots past the election.
Which I'm sure Trump hates and Republicans hate.
Again I was just impressed by Amy Coney Barrett and I still am.

The Court said she didn’t participate because she isn’t yet ready to. It didn’t said she recuse herself.

So is ACB not qualified? I keep hearing that she isn't. So is there another conservative woman more qualified Trump should choose or should Trump have put a male in her place who was more qualified?

Our agencies are getting castrated by court decisions with most of the powers beholden by industry insiders and lobbyists.

Apparently accountability and agency, let alone any whiff of strong regulation, are "unconstitutional" because it hurts the people-like Corporations feelings.

Doubtful, it's cause Trump stooges are still outnumbered in the court. If there were 2 more Trump appointees, which likely would have happened if he had won re-election, the Trump puppets would have majority and be much more brazen to behave in a corrupt manner together.
