I know Westbrook likely will not be traded this season but cannot help myself:

    LAC: Russ Westbrook, Danuel House
    BOS: Paul George, Pat Beverley
ORL: Gordon Hayward (Opt In), Austin Rivers (Opt In), Ben McLemore
HOU: Aaron Gordon, Marcus Smart, Mo Bamba

    6'3 Smart/6'5 Nwaba
    6'5 Harden/6'3 EGo
    6'7 RoCo/6'6 Ross
    6'9 AG/6'5 PJ
    7'0 Bamba/6'10 Harry Giles (MLE)

    Every team in trade wins.

And Rockets immediately add length, youth athleticism, defense and depth.

EGo can still be traded at deadline if necessary.

You probably are right but I liked what I saw in him as a rookie. MDA doesn't groom younger players and yet he still had his flashes. I can see him making a big jump in year two for us if Westbrook is moved.

This draft is so bad, there could be an opportunity with Charlotte.

Take back Batum, get the #3 pick, filler on the rest.

So if the rockets do move him to Clippers do you get a 3rd team involved? Philly??? Maybe trade Gordon, House to Philly - W/ Clippers sending Rockets Green, Lou. - Philly send Rockets Hartford / Richardson?? -- Clippers send Bev and Zubac 2 Philly?? .. Seems good for all.

It does get you out of Westbrook and Gordon contracts. Saves you money to spend now, and Later. Just saying if the Clippers want to form a big 3. It would create Enough cap to get Wood, and Rockets could go back to shooting 2's and letting Harden run the Offensive around good team built around him. Or if you cant get Wood maybe philly would let rockets swap Lou for Zubac.

still not a title contender. i dont think this makes any better and james would be unhappy. lose morey, mike D, and russ all in one offseason, james will definitely want out also. .... and yall are STILL on aaron gordon's nuts i dont understand it. he isnt that good.

Rockets need players to COMPLEMENT Harden.

AG is the roller/lob threat, long switchable defender and secondary ball handler. Remember how effective Jeff was as short roller, now imagine the more explosive AG in that role.

Having 4 one dimensional 3ball shooters around Harden is nice in regular season UNTIL playoffs come around and teams are trapping/doubling/zone Harden in exotic and unique ways.

You need other players that can create for themselves.

And as we learned vs. Lakers, the longer and more athletic and more skilled the better.

And I disagree, Harden would weaponize those players.

But best trade right now Russ wants out is the following:

    PHI: Paul George, CP3
    LAC: Russ Westbrook, Danuel House
    OKC: Tobias Harris, Jason Richards
    HOU: Ben Simmons, Matisse Thybulle

    6'5 Harden
    6'3 EGo/6'3 BMac
    6'5 Thybulle (23)/6'5 Nwaba
    6'7 RoCo/6'5 PJ
    6'10 Simmons (24)

MLE: 6'8 Josh Jackson (23) or 6'10 Harry Giles (22)

This is a team that can match up with Lakers or GSW. Simmons is essentially Russ & Capela hybrid.
