    Here's a weird conspiracy theory that I have absolutely no basis for theorising but I'm going to post it anyways:


    Melania caught Trump screwing Hope Hicks and wants to leave him, but it's bad optics before the election, so they're making Hicks pretend to be Melania.


    Remember, Hicks had covid and presumably gave it to Trump, after all. Also, Melania hasn't been outwardly affectionate towards Trump at all in the few times that she's actually had to be around him.

    One of the top-ranked cognitive disjoints with their faithful is their bad-mouthing of immigrants and then supporting one or more of the Melanias.

    She took an American job! Sure, an unimaginably horrifying one, but still.
