This one really hurts. Grew up on the James Bond movies. Will never be another one like him.

I thought of him every now and then and researched him. Hope his last few years were okay.

My own father, gone for just shy of 40 years, was an enormous fan of Ian Fleming’s Bond novels. I still remember the family going to see Dr. No when it came out. It was akin to seeing Star Wars for the first time for a science fiction fan. Mind blowing. Sean Connery owned that role from the beginning. His James Bond in From Russia with Love is still the wellspring for every actor who has played him since, in my opinion.

Rest In Peace. You’ve earned it.

Incredible actor and one of my favorites growing up. Parents were big fans and I got to see how strong his longevity was as a performer.

    Rest in Peace

I watched this movie when I had a 104 fever, making it so much trippier.
