There’s a big difference between actions that were being done at the beginning of the pandemic and actions done now. Cuomo certainly deserves criticism for actions taken at the beginning of the pandemic but he’s taken responsibility and isn’t doing the same things now On the other hand we see with Trump him reverting back to actions and rhetoric that he had at the beginning while taking no responsibility for mistakes earlier.
