Another trade that would save Tilman money (about $4.1M)... Dal: EG and Danuel House HOU: Dwight Powell and Seth Curry
Yeah i agree, hard to think someone could give Derozan 30M per season, i think more around 20/25 (on a multi year deal), then again, the Kings gave Barnes that kind of money like a year ago right? Tobias Harris got a max that will pay him around 35M per season for 5 years so, you never know.
Difference is that salary cap is significantly lower this weird season, money will be tight. But DeRozan is good guy, hope he lands in good spot.
Harden for Embiid and Beal, (or DeRozan) Harden to Sixers Horford + Gordon / House to Wizards Beal and Embiid to Rockets Westbrook Beal Covington Tucker Embiid/Filler Harden Richardson Harris Simmons Free Agent Wall Gordon Hachimura Free Agent Horford
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/...orey-and-doc-rivers-is-too-obvious-to-ignore/ OKC and PHI media are both clamoring to trade CP3 for Horford/Richardson. If this happens then in addition to the above trade scenario, would strongly push this trade as well: LAL: Russ Westbrook PHI: Paul George HOU: Ben Simmons Clips - Kawhi gets his PG who is legit 2nd superstar; LAL eliminates lockerroom issues; Trez may be open to re-signing w/PG13 out 76ers - CP3/Embiid/PG13/Thybulle/Tobias are much more balanced (skillset and ages) and championship contending complementary team; only problem is relationship between CP3 and Doc/Morey may still be on rocks Rockets - add legit 2nd superstar equivalent of Russ/Clint hybrid and only 24 6'5 Harden 6'10 Ben 6'7 RoCo/6'5 Nwaba 6'8 AG/6'5 PJ 7'0 Bamba *All above players have at least 7'0 wingspan and are switchable. Ben, Harden and RoCo are most disruptive defenders in NBA, top 3 in steals and deflections. MLE: 6'8 Josh Jackson or 6'10 Harry Giles Vet min: 6'8 Jeff Green, 6'4 Tyler Johnson, 6'9 Bruno Caboclo, 6'9 Jonah Bolden, 6'7 Ryan Broekhoff (Silas connection)
PHX: Eric Gordon + Rockets FRP ORL: Danuel House, Ben McLemore HOU: Kelly Oubre, Mo Bamba Russ Harden Oubre/Nwaba RoCo/PJ Bamba MLE: Josh Jackson
I love this but I can’t see Phoenix trading Oubre. They just used him in their new uniform unveiling. I think he’s there long term.
they could extend him and I believe they maintain bird rights. He’s too good to let go and he’s close with the core. I’ve wanted Oubre since he was in Washington. Maybe Justise Winslow is the more obtainable young wing. Russ Harden Winslow RoCo PJ Would be insanely versatile.
Yes, they could max him but then what do Suns do with Ayton who is up in 2 years? 3 max contracts - Booker/Oubre/Ayton Suns will to go over LT for a trio that is not championship caliber? Even with these 3 on good contracts and money for depth, Suns have not been competitive enough. Suns want a star upgrade to PG, so here is a trade that makes more sense for Suns: PHX: Jrue Holiday NOP: Eric Gordon, Frank Kaminsky, Ben McLemore + Suns FRP ORL: Danuel House, Chiek Diallo + Rockets FRP HOU: Kelly Oubre, Mo Bamba Suns - stud PG to pair w/Booker & Ayton (signed for 2 more years) - Bridges & Cam Johnson step up like in bubble, Rubio to 6th man Pelicans - more 3 point shooting to surround Zion, more cap space, Suns future 1st round pick Magic - Rockets 1st plus another spacer in House and another 4/5 to add to their collection Russ Harden Oubre RoCo Bamba
Of course. Bruno back. Noel Cousins or WCS for Tax MLE. Magically get Wood Or trade for Bamba or Turner. Skill ball still has value just not for 48. Off speed pitch vs all fastballs. Even just running it back and adding one of the MLE guys may be kind of interesting. Use this as a starting point with Bruno back on a 2 year minimum deal with bird rights. Russ Eric/ Ben Mc House / Nwaba Harden / PJ RoCo / Bruno IF we move Harden to the PF (HE HAS THE SIZE and LENGTH!) we create a brand new dynamic. That's a very power place to start from. Add in one of the 3 MLE guys I mentioned and we are a very very good team. Russ/ Eric/ Ben Mc House/ Nwaba Harden/ PJ RoCo/ Noel/ Bruno Add in Wood. WE are elite. We probably have to trade Eric to make that work though. It also probably moves Harden back to the 2. Russ Harden/Ben House/ Nwaba RoCo/PJ Wood/ Bruno This is probably the best option. If Bruno breaks out you could easily play Bruno and Wood together creating a big line up. Russ Harden RoCo Bruno Wood or go small with PJ at the 5. It definitely creates a lot more options. Bruno breaking out will solve a ton of issues. Silas is the best coach for Bruno. He's going to get a shot if he's brought back.
I'm rooting for Bruno too, just not counting on him. But that's all moot if Rockets do not re-sign him. Morey was the one who liked Bruno and Morey no longer here.
