Ossoff should have played this clip dozens of times during Thursday Night Football in the Atlanta area yesterday. Needs to do the same for college football games involving Georgia teams all through the weekend as well.
I posted in the other thread but this is a strange poll. Also Trump is winning by 7 in this poll so underperforming Trump by 3 is a bad sign. That means Ernst can lose even if Trump wins. But the crosstabs are bizarre on this poll. There was a 20+ point swing among Independents from the last DMR poll and a 20+ point swing in IA-01. Neither of those make sense. Eh I'd say Missouri would fit that category. Iowa still votes for Democrats pretty routinely.
If Trump can win Iowa by 7 points then Wisconsin is definitely in play for him and Florida looks so much more like Alabama as time goes on that it more and more seems like a Trump stronghold. Michigan gets lumped in with Wisconsin for good reason traditionally but the Demographics there are different than Wisconsin and give me much more confidence. Penn is the big question mark. I think it’s not offensive but smart campaigning to actually be focusing more on Texas, AZ, and Georgia because the demographics are much more favorable to Democrats despite their history as red states. The states have seen a generational flip. To think that just a few years ago Obama won Iowa and Ohio is quite amazing to think about. In 24 if Biden hopefully is president and decides the step down after one term, the party should have a black woman and a Hispanic man on the ticket. Texas and Georgia aren’t the future of the party, they are the present... nobody really realizes it yet though.
