I would say "no", but I had no interest once the Astros lost. I at least watched highlights and kept up with the scores a bit with the NBA Finals.

How did the NBA Finals do?

NBA Finals had the lowest ratings ever. I personally didn't watch a game as I had no interest in either team. I was the same as you once the Astros lost but I did watch game 6 of the WS

Are you saying it is the mother ****ing Astros fault? Will they lose another first round pick?

Just a bad time for sports plus Tampa Bay needs to relocate as they have very few fans.

Both sports had jerryrigged seasons in bubbles with what seemed to be to be inconsistent scheduling, like 5pm games. And there are just more other entertainment options. The prior years numbers mat not ever be reached again.

In baseball, you missed a million people for each team that would normally attend live games and maybe be more invested.

Their local TV ratings are huge, they just don't to their funky dome.

They aren't huge, more middle of the pack. Tampa has no national appeal, and many of the regions baseball fans are transplants.

Yes, Middle if the pack in a nontraditional mid level market. I'd bet the owners are fine with that. But obviously they won't draw a National audience. The Dodgers should though.

If it had been Dodgers/Yankees I wonder how far down the viewership would have been.

The LeBron , Laker bias was real. After the Rockets lost I couldn’t care about the nba. Rather watch the Astros than a stacked lakers team with ESPN completely rooting for the lakers. Much worse than watching the warriors

BLM, politics, and “woke athletes” was supposed to be the reason for the NBA’s bad ratings. Remember loser politicians talking about #GoWokeGoBroke? I just need to know why MLB ratings were garbage as well.

right wingers want to act like we aren’t in the middle of a pandemic with 230k+ dead, record unemployment, countless people facing evictions or struggling to pay rent, and businesses being forced to close left and right

nah, it was BLM that caused the NBA’s ratings to drop

I don’t think MLB stadiums had “Black Lives Matter” painted on the fields, nor do I think they spent any time on social justice messaging, but they’re posting their still having the lowest ratings on record?

As I said about the Lakers, no one cares about Cali teams.

The Stanley Cup was the least watched since 2007. Bunch of white guys with no noticeable political agenda, missing teeth and fighting. Should have had massive ratings.

I watched some of the WS and it was pretty exciting. I still think much of it has to do with them playing not on their homefield with few fans.

I know this sounds racist but I could not pick out 3 of those girls in a lineup, they all look alike.

    actually, yes.

If the Astros were there instead of Tampa, and we're playing in Texas. The ratings would be much higher.

Most people hate the Astros and the Dodgers are like the Lakers the networks want them to win.
