When belichick went to Patriots from the jets they got a 1st round pick. Are we going to get nothing? He was under contract.

I'm telling y'all, Tilman signed a release thinking nobody would hire Morey after the China ****. It's exactly the right kind of stupid.

Should we? OBVIOUSLY. Morey was a valuable asset and he was let go like a dog.

Will we? OBVIOUSLY NOT. Tilman is a moronic fried food flinger who lives inside of a mascot uniform parading around like a natural born business savant.

I wish we could have real rockets and just send them all to the new liveable moonbase.

Morey might trade assets to rockets here soon. Harden to Philly?

Clippers gave up a first rounder to get Doc Rivers.

Morey is no better than Fisher or boozer. Lied to get out of his contract.

Not only that, but I guarantee you Morey began discussing this with the Sixers shortly after Tilman forced him to pull the trigger on that Westbrook trade.

Morey's not stupid, and I'm sure he resents the f$#k out of someone making him look like he is.

@Deuce has the quote in his bio. Morey is a slippery eel. He Morey'd the city of Houston. Tilman is a moron and Morey is a weasel. I agree with Morey leaving because who would stay here if they have an easy out? That doesn't make him any less of a weasel.

Can someone please explain this to me? Does Patrick really hold a title in the Rockets front office? I have looked it up and find nothing. I did see an article from 2019 that he does have input but I am wondering if he has any sort of official title?

Huh? How was Morey still under contract when he quit? What is OP talking about?

he was not under contract, so no, we shouldn’t be getting anything

Non-Compete in the case of a buyout, which is what was sold to the public.

He is still under contract until November 1 and he's publicly found a new job. This is a complete slap in the face of Tilman. If this isn't a trade in the end this is one of the most public castrations I've ever seen.

Why would Daryl choose to give up assets from his new team?

Trying to imagine a world where Daryl doesn’t easily outsmart Tilly and bypass that bullshit lol. Tilman should get some of that free consultation on what he should do here.

Because normally a competent owner wouldn't let a talent under contract leave for an equivalent job without compensation. this is a complete public humiliation of an egomaniac by a fellow egomaniac.
