[copied from other thread] this should end the discussion of China/NBA having anything to do with Morey quitting the Rockets as the theory is NBA/China wouldn't want him in the association at all Quitting is now clearly all about seeking best job available @AroundTheWorld -- there is no bigger appreciation and endorsement of Morey from circles in the NBA than him being immediately hired again by a significant franchise.
He just needs to hire john lucas and save a few dollars like he wants to he's a broke boy and the nba shouldn't have let him in
The Rockets are probably Tilman's only asset with a positive cash flow right now. He isn't selling ****.
i hope not, it should be silas, but probably will be JVG, at this point whatever he does doesnt matter. Harden will probably demand a trade.
If you thought that the Rockets fans didn't show up at the Toyota Center when we were a contending team, just watch how empty the lower bowl will be when we suck.
China still sucks for dissing on Morey and the Rockets and Hong Kong and Taiwan and Tibet and Mongolia and BTS
damn i gotta give whoever said that morey would be snatched up the minute tillman let him go was SPOT ON. Morey was very sought after(much much than i even thought), i honestly thought we rockets fans overvalued him too much tbh. But the rest of the NBA must have thought we were nuts for letting go of Morey over a statement on twitter
yea if i wasnt already im now firmly in the camp that tillman wanted that chinese money more than keeping morey. No way morey would just decide to get up one morning and leave james harden( they were inseperable)
That was quick and is a clear sign to everyone in NBA circles that Tillman is not a good boss. It will be interesting to see how Philadelphia fans take to Morey considering there was a lot of backlash during Sam Hinkie’s tenure.
