    Nothing is indicating that this is a trade. Tilman just let him out of the contract and Morey got a new job. This is worse than Morey leaving. This is the end of this franchise. He needs to sell the damn team.

    Patrick, I know you read this. Sell the ****ing team.

    Dude ****ed up and still gets to keep his job. If I were him I wouldn't have issues with this--get paid and don't have do do anything or be accountable any longer.

    Unbelievable that Tilly inherited a championship team and A+ organization, and in only 3 years has totally ruined everything. I knew this was bad but it's somehow even worse than I thought..

    Don't worry, Brand will either get with the program or he will be pushed out slowly. Morey doesn't just hand out assets like popsicles like Brand was doing.

    I'm sick to my stomach about having Tilman as an owner for the foreseeable future.

    Les Alexander was greedy, he needed to sell his NBA team to be a billionaire

    he couldn't a smart genius and build electric cars and Rockets like Elon Musk

    He just used the rockets as a penny stock, raised it up after a bunch of china deals then dumped it to the first seller

    Oh man, just picture it.

    Morey is going to hose us on this one. He will probably tell Rafael that he has a GM position for him waiting when he Brand's gets pushed out. Morey will orchestrate the trade to save Tilman a lot of money, while hosing us.

    Summer 2021: Morey trades Simmons and scraps for Harden. 76ers make the finals.

    Houston descends into a spiral of mediocrity. 5 years from now, with no picks to rebuild, Tillman is forced to sell the team. The buyer? Trump. Houston is sucked into a vortex of eternal woe.

    It’s clearly not a trade. Still don’t see how Tilman allowed it to happen. I guarantee he doesnt just let his hotel, casino and restaurant executives who are under contract l, just quit to go work for a competitor. There is almost alway a non-compete clause built into these things. I knew he was a terrible sports owner, but figured he was more than capable with contracted executive positions.
