This is not good. All it confirms Morey and Tilman obviously did not have a good working relationship. All that fluff about being tired or spending time with the family was a farce.
I wonder if it's a trade. He's not out of his contract yet and isn't set to be out until next week. I imagine they worked on a buyout and Tilman required a year off, Morey had an offer to go to Philly. If we don't get an asset for this, Tilman needs to sell the team now.

Wow, can we boycott Tilman? I am dead serious. The guy is obviously a cancer. Get him out of her before he O'brien's the Rockets franchise any further. It was obvious why Morey left but figure he would sit out at least a year so the optics don't look so bad. Philly was trying to hire him a few years ago. Morey said recently that he’s been “thinking about going back east for a few years now”. Morey has been thinking about going to Philly for a few years now apparently. b**** move.
