Elementary school kids, here and elsewhere in the world, wear mask for the whole school day. Some Republican can't wear mask for a few hours.

I've always thought Trump was probably screwing her, to be blunt. Fair chance he has it, though we'll never know until/if he's hospitalized.

Hicks is a classic candidate for becoming Trump's next wife.

Largest covid transmission study ever (thx India). Two main findings. If somehow super spreader can be detected, you can control this. You can no longer assume kids aren't major driven of covid, likely they are.

    1- Super spreader drive covd19.

"8% of the people who were infected were responsible for 60% of the infections "
"71%, according to this study — appear to have never passed the virus on to anyone. Given that the outbreak continues to grow, this means there are a small minority of patients responsible for the vast majority of spread."
2- (the data I have been watching for). Kids get infect as much as anyone else and spread among themselves and to everyone else. Silence spreader as most of them have no symptoms.

"They were likely to get infected, particularly by young adults of the ages of 20 to 40. They were likely to transmit the disease amongst themselves. And this is unusual, because schools in India have been shut since March. So clearly this is happening just at the community [level]. And then they also go out and infect people of all age groups, including the elderly.""

Trump getting the virus could save tens of thousands of lives if Trumps idiot followers now take this seriously.

[NPR] All Regal and Cineworld Movie Theaters To Close Until Further Notice

Regal Cinemas, a subsidiary of Cineworld Group, said it will shut down all 536 locations on Thursday until further notice. The closure reflects "an increasingly challenging theatrical landscape" due to the COVID-19 pandemic and is temporary, the chain said. NPR reports:Regal is shutting down theaters again less than two months after it started to reopen U.S. locations in late August. The decision was announced after the James Bond franchise's No Time to Die was shelved until 2021, further pushing back a release that had already been delayed. Roughly 40,000 Regal employees across the U.S. now face a work furlough, the company told NPR. More than 5,000 employees in the U.K. will also be affected, the BBC reported.

"This is not a decision we made lightly, and we did everything in our power to support a safe and sustainable reopening in the U.S.," said Mooky Greidinger, CEO of Cineworld, noting the chain's safety precautions for staff and moviegoers. In a statement, Greidinger emphasized that "there has been no evidence to date linking any COVID cases with cinemas." He also aired frustration that Regal can't yet operate in New York state, a key U.S. market, although some indoor venues such as bowling alleys and casinos have been allowed to resume business. "The prolonged closures have had a detrimental impact on the release slate for the rest of the year, and, in turn, our ability to supply our customers with the lineup of blockbusters they've come to expect from us," Greidinger said. "As such, it is simply impossible to continue operations in our primary markets."

Antibody Study Shows No 'Herd Immunity' For COVID-19

The British study shows a drop in antibodies once the infection passes. You apparently aren't "immune" after you get well. Wash your hands!

Dr. Hilary Jones delivered some bad news to the viewers of Good Morning Britain:

HILARY JONES: Unfortunately, it looks like herd immunity is a long way off. Those people who have been hoping and relying on the concept of herd immunity, their concerns are going to be certainly heightened after this study.

This is a big study. 350,000 people tested on numerous occasions to look at their antibody levels and the trouble is, those antibodies that should give protection over Covid-19 wane over a period of time. They wane faster in the more vulnerable groups - the people over 55. The antibodies aren’t there in such a prevalent manner in that age group and they wane quicker. The prevalence of antibodies is greater in the 18-24-year-old age group and they hang open to their antibodies longer.
Scientists in Britain are suggesting that COVID behaves like a super-flu, and that individuals may need a shot a year or maybe even two shots a year, to remain immune from this strain of COVID.
