    Assistant head coach would work....hoping for JVG. More seriously, will never forgive MDA for not using him. He was a ball of fire/energy when on the floor and fun to watch!!!

    Agree that in a perfect world it would be JVG with Silas running the offense, but no way would he leave Dallas for a lateral move and most likely less money. Promoting Lucas to assistant head coach/offensive coordinator would be more realistic.

    He filled in for Capela so seamlessly. Not sure why he was relegated to a bench warmer when CC came back. MDA had a huge problem with too short of rotations. Honestly, I think it's why we didn't win a championship in 2018. Such a great coach who just doesn't understand trusting the 8-12 guys on the roster. Whether it is JVG or Silas (hopefully one of them like the Feigen report) I really hope the rotation is closer to 10 guys with two extras getting spot rotation minutes.

    I hope it's Silas, give him a shot. JVG has had his shot and while I really like him as a person and would be happy for him, I'm not sure why we would go with him again. That would be like when the Cavs went with Mike Brown again which didn't work out at all.

    MDA fell in love with Iman Schumpert and thar was the end of the Manimal. Soooo happy MDA is gone. Either JVG or Silas will be much better and may even call timeouts at the end of playoff games.

    We all know Harden is the coach. Tillman should just make himself some money. Raffle off the Head Coaching spot to fans. Different coach every game.

    .....also save money by not hiring a coach immediately so he can pocket whatever amount they would be paid daily.

    Lucas is still in the conversation so it really hasn’t changed
