When did you finally get tired? Dems lose A LOT. republicans have gotten 15 of the last 19 SCOTUS picks in the court. Dems deliberately lose then fundraise off of public outrage. Trump was huge money maker for the dems.

I predict dems will continue to lose and not use their power until we vote in real people that care about governing not getting rich.

what part was confusing. A Democrat has won the popular vote in EVERY presidential election since and including 1992 - that’s 6 of the last 7 representing 24 of the last 28 years.

yet the Supreme Court is now 6-3 conservative/republican.

this is in let also because the folks in charge thereafter of confirming the Supreme Court nomination in no way represent the US population. California has the same number of senators as Wyoming.... or any combination of small ass republican states.

but the house, you say!! That’s what was supposed to be representative. Well... yes, but of course there are big problems there, too... even if it’s Democrat controlled. From gerrymandering (useless to argue against this idiocy), to Republicans going so far as to trying their best to not get a proper census count.

finally... ABSOLUTELY there’s a problem, when it comes to representation, of lack of voting. Which blocks of people don’t vote as much?? Fortunately there’s a pretty recent analysis on this.
    https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/non-voters-poll-2020-election/

Certainly some of the barriers to voting, etc, etc play a role here and in an election year where one side has gone as far as legally possible (and more so in light of their own “packing” of the courtS in hopes of swinging rulings in their favor) to suppress the vote, I think it’s more than just “hey these guys should vote more”.

from Abbott’s dumbass ballot box limiting attempt to the SCs most recent ruling on Wisconsin... what is clear is one side is making as much effort as possible to ensure more people don’t or can’t vote (which at its very core is definitionally anti-democratic)... and this year isn’t an anamoly in that regard... though it is as brazen and obvious this year as it’s ever been so if anyone wasn’t obvious this was happening before hopefully they are now.

    People complaining about the winning.

What are your thoughts on RBG not stepping down when she was clearly not fit for service when Obama could have replaced her?

Common sense - not even once.

    Imagine being this deluded.

A women, in one of the most important roles in the land.

Who got there by sheer hard work and dedication.

Is apparently not the type of example you want to set for other women, and on top of that it's a sad day.

If it was a left leaning woman in the exact same position, we'd have billboards and posters and fires started in her honour.

Hahaha. I can't fathom the mental gymnastics required to be a liberal lunatic.

You do realize that just because a person is a woman doesn't mean they are for women's rights, right?

If the Democrats do add new members to the Supreme Court, I wonder if they would just add three and make it an even 6-6 split. An even numbered court is odd but in a way its the easiest sales pitch because you just say that you've created an equal number of justices on each side along with the provision that the justices rotate to a different court every 18 years. Democrats could also expand some lower courts as well as there are some pretty uneven numbers at lower levels.

the SC was established in 1789 with 6 judges. There were just under 4 million Americans. There are 85x that number of Americans today Should there be 510 SC justices? No... I don’t think so... but what is the argument for why there shouldn’t be A LOT more SC judges to better reflect the melting pot that is the American populace?

oh I’m well aware of why you’re having a breakdown over a successful role model to women

I agree, Biden should add 500 new SC judges, all randomly picked from AOC’s Facebook friends list.

Pointing out that sometimes women can be against women's rights is having a breakdown? Ok. Maybe you're just ignorant of the history of women's rights and don't know about the numerous women that stood against voting rights for example.

Look bro, if you're down here to 'trigger da libs' you're going to find that people that post here in the DnD have thicker skin than most.

After racing this supreme court nominee through, 5 days before the election, the senate republicans head off to vacation without a stimulus package... that's where senate republicans priorities lie...
