I appreciate your support of Clint - he's a local good ol boy and that's cool and all, but he's out there in his views IMO. I'll go ahead and ride with Steve Youngs breakdown of Deshaun Watsons game vs Clint Stoerner, but that's just me. I've heard plenty of guys with more successful experience in the NFL offer their insights into the systemic deficiencies of the Obrien offense vs just saying "that guy was open - he shoulda went there" in a cherry picked existence, but Stoerner does have the hard on for Watson as if in his comments I get the impression he feels HE could be better. EVERYONE looks sharper at practice my guy - and DJ has always been regarded as a gap runner but he was going to come in here and bang heads with OBriens run scheme? Nah. It was just a salary match to unload Hopkins, there was no equal talent in return and OBrien knew that. Fans have that bad habit of HOPING that new acquisitions will match their outlier years because hey why not be optimistic right? When reality sets in then the nasty cycle of grief begins.

Best interest of the T-E-A-M Brian. Anytime you can trade a top 5 WR for David Johnson & Ross Blacklock, you don't pass it up, you make it & twice on Sunday Brian! Just couldn't pay him! I know we're paying Randall Cobb, Brandin Cooks, Will Fuller, Kenny Stills and took on David Johnson's $11M but I'd rather pay those guys than this guy! Aaron Hernandez and baby mamas, no! Gotta go!
