It’s still early but I’m leaning towards trade him for a 2nd round pick to clear up more space below the hard cap . Drop Bruno if possible. Sign Ilyasova and MKG(for wing defense). Bring in Green around buyout season for more wing depth if needed.

When House was trying to prove himself, he was a fairly decent player. Like so many other members of last year’s squad though, something happened and he’s just not the same. Westbrook was right about the culture thing. House’s immaturity ruined the season last year, and I’d get rid of him for that alone, so he needs to be good at basketball to stick around now, and he’s just not a very good basketball player anymore either. So what’s left? The ONLY thing House offers now is a fairly cheap contract. I’d love for him to move on and become somebody else’s cheap problem.

 

I want to trade House but we need value for him.

Young House for an old Crowder would be the best.

 

The guy is immature and when he’s not shooting he just sits there and loafs on the court -he contributes nothing. With last year’s bubble antics and him not playing well, i want him gone. We need players with their heads screwed on straight, that are fully committed and giving their all as we support this new young coach.

It stinks that he has a great skill set, athleticism, and length.. I guess motor and mentality are important.

 

Maybe the only way he could excel was through MDA's system because this House looks like the same one that warmed the bench for Golden State before his "explosion" here in Houston.

I dunno what kind of slump House is going through, maybe he followed his idol Harden into partying and didnt take camp seriously as well. Unfortunately he aint a generational talent like Harden thats why he is playing bad.

Regardless I'd give House time to get his act together. Yeah he has caused problems, but he is locked in a team friendly deal (3M per) and when his head is on straight he is good value for money. He just doesnt deserve to be a starter, put him on the bench make him the guy behind Tate, Nwaba and Bmac till he starts playing better.

At 3M he is allowed to be a headcase part of the time. That is basically vet min money and given all the red flags he when his contract is up for renewal you can sign him for cheap again. Dude just had his first big payday I mean yeah its disappointing he wasnt as mature as Wood but then again thats why Wood is 13M guy House is a 3M guy.
