There are plenty of people in the media and even supporters of Biden that have said he should have really discouraged his son and brother from doing any business with any companies outside of the USA. Even when Biden was Vice President there were people that told him that Hunter Biden could destroy him.

However, that isn’t what this whole thing is according to Rudy G and Trump and the ads he is running. Their claims are not that Biden exercised poor judgment because of his feelings for his son. Their claims are that he is compromised, committed illegal/criminal acts and that he should step down.

It's alleged that the Bidens did get 5 million from China paid through a shell company who paid Jim Biden for consulting services. Which incuded a credit card that Hunter, Jim and Jim's wife purchased over 100k of goods. In the deal that was outlined with Bobulinski, Hunter was holding money on behalf of Joe. This all could be for services rendered while Biden was VP; There's enough evidence to warrant an investigation. They may not be able to pin anything on Joe but it's obvious he was lying about having knowledge of Hunter's dealings.

I thought it was reported Hunter Biden resigned in 2017 without receiving the share of the profits owed to him. What is the evidence that he, or any of the Bidens, received that money?

Maybe we should wait and see what the results or the investigations into the matter are before making statements about Biden being politically compromised or doing something illegal.
