Sounds like an inside the loop story. But I hear some of these suburbs are becoming somewhat more civilized thanks to immigrants.
Thank you. I'm 34, I'm not ashamed to say undecided/non-registered voter was a very accurate description of me until recently. All that pressure people put on you to vote is straight doodykins. I never felt like I did the wrong thing in abstaining.
Lol. It was in Friendswood. It's very diverse in the Clear Lake area these days. I love it. One of the main reasons we moved back to H-Town from Ft. Worth.
You pull into a tent. You give your license and you use a portable voting machine with the same interface as the machines you vote with indoors. There is no paper.
I requested an absentee ballot over a month ago, but it never came, so I went to vote in person today. They turned me away, because if you request an an absentee ballot you cannot vote in person unless you hand back the absentee ballot at the same time. Pretty annoying. One less vote for the good guys.
Yikes. I use USPS Informed delivery that scans my mail and sends me an email daily to let me know what's coming. Of course it's not the entire mail process, but it eliminates at least one place that a hiccup could have occurred. I was able to see the day that my ballot was to be delivered. Do you use the service?
Informed Delivery has been unreliable for me lately. I haven't been getting notices consistently for a while or I don't get a scan until after the mail was delivered.
Ha! I’ve been ignoring those emails for I don’t know how long. Never realized they had images of the mail that’s coming that day. I didn’t see my ballot after going through them just now, but there are a quite a few that say image not available.
common movie theatre ads in the lobbies....you know...life-sized characters standing. should be some Elvira ones in the liquor stores now for Hollyween
