MacIsaac, the owner, said several times how he felt Mr. Trump was treated unfairly during his impeachment trial and suggested if the alleged documents are true, the "sham" impeachment was reason to release them. He also repeatedly mentioned his girlfriend left him after he voted for Trump in 2016.

Right now somewhere between 40 and 45 million Americans have already cast their vote for the 2020 election.

The best estimate from experts is that between 135-140 million ballots will be cast.

There are another 5-10 million votes already cast that are currently in the postal service supply chain.

The expectation is that by the end of the weekend 60-65 million ballots will have been cast or in the mail supply chain.

So for any of this folly to matter in the election, Trump better count on the polls being really wrong in places like Nevada and Maine.

No, the national polling last time was within the standard margin for error. Voters were accounted for in 2016. The issue in 2016 had to do with very limited polling at the state level in places like Wisconsin and Michigan and Pennsylvania because the expectation inside these states was that they would vote as they had for many previous elections. In 2020 these "battle ground" states have far more polling. States like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and North Carolina have a lot more information and polling data than in 2016.

If Trump is going to pull an upset, it will probably be because he wins some states with limited polling information. For example Nevada (where Trump has put a lot of time and effort into). A month ago that was Oregon, and possibly one or two of the North Eastern states.

States like Florida are a close to a toss up, but there is a lot of polling data........ States like Texas and Georgia have a lot of polling data that say it is a toss up, but most pollsters think Trump gets a narrow victory in both.

States like Pennsylvania and North Carolina and Wisconsin and Arizona are states with lots of data, and ones where Biden has a consistent 5-7% lead in..... Trump CAN win some of these, and indeed has to, in order to win the election.

Trump is in a tough spot because he is very likely to lose Michigan. He also is behind in Wisconsin and Arizona and Pennsylvania.... all states he won in 2016.

Trump had 306 votes in 2016..... he can lose some, as you only need 270 to win.......... Michigan is 16 votes, so that gets him down to 290..... So the margin for error for Trump is really small..... he is trying to hedge his bets by picking up some states that he did not have last time, like Nevada..... the problem is that there are no large electoral college states he can feasibly pick up, but there are many that are close that he could lose.... for example Pennsylvania with 20 votes, or North Carolina (which he is very likely to lose) which is 15 votes, Florida which is 29 votes.

 

trump supporters are going full out on this obvious 11th hour desperate attempt to smear Joe Biden... and the trump department of justice, obviously supportive of this effort, could easily prove or disprove it. But they don't, for equally obvious reasons...
