If Lucas has been offered the HC gig then he would already have said yes. He is pushing this narrative for being Rockets next HC.
At the very least interviewing her would be a smart move, but she has the added benefit of being the best choice.
Anyone else think it's odd that the decision has taken this long? Have they not conducted second interviews with Silas, JVC and Lucas yet? Is Tilman just trying to avoid having to pay a coach for as long as possible? It just seems like they're really dragging this out. Even with the GM change, it feels like this is taking forever.
At this point I think I am going with the "F" "IT" idea and saying we should hire Silas and inject some NEW blood into the organization BUT, if we can retain John Lucas and a coach or advisor of some kind I am all for that too.
Seriously. They’ve interviewed these candidates multiple times and have had plenty of time to weigh their options. You should know by now who you want.
Celebrity UFC match JVG with Alonzo Mourning Charles Oakley and Anthony Mason vs Lucas and everyone in the whole league that ever had an issue he helped.
LOL, I think almost every team has hired a coach...cheap ass Fertitta saving that money by not hiring a coach. Will probably hire one close to training camp
If Lucas is the pick out of the three then I'm done with the Rockets. Harden and Lucas together would be more of the same old nonsense.
I know your comment was in jest, but how is this even possible? Maybe I missed the news that he is parting with Spurs organization?
