Adding a name that did serve in the Trump Administration that I could see Biden offering a cabinet position too John Mattis - His name still carries a lot of weight in the military and given his principled resignation along with speaking out strongly against Trump I can see Biden wanting to be associated with him. I doubt he would accept as it sounds like he's done with politics.
Words are cute, but on paper, the concrete stuff, they voted with Trump 80-90+% of the time. Why are they even on the list? Because they are the list, it makes me call into question everyone else on the list even though I dont know many of them.

Cabinet secretaries aren't going to please everyone. Dent and Flake are prominent Republicans who risked their political reputations early on to criticize Trump. Out of all of the names on that list Flake is the most conservative. That might not mean much to you but it probably means a lot to Biden who does want to try to reach across the aisle.
Those were off the top of my head because I was just watching them. I even googled never trumpers but did not include them because I knew you would nit pick them. So I guess you are backtracking about there being no Republicans who never backed Trump which was the real issue.

no reaching across the aisle, man. It says so much about Biden that he has a list of Republicans before he has a list of Progressives. Biden hasn't had to do anything for his support because everyone really hates the Republicans right now, why the hell is he reaching across the aisle now?
