Yeah just about done with him after he’s calling for Lucas as head coach shows how much he really cares about winning.
A lot of dumb things get said about Harden, but inarguably the most non sensical is that he doesn’t care about winning. Completely idiotic notion.
He don’t. Cant play with Dwight Can’t play with cp3 He wanted Russ He wanted Lucas He can make his super max He can win his scoring titles He can win MVPs He can stand around the 3 pt line with no movement off ball He has it made here and he’s spoiled thanks to Morey. Now when Tilman starts making real changes as he should because harden and morey haven’t won a damn thing...then he will look like the bad guy. But in reality we have to start over.
@Rudyc281 your anger at Harden is misplaced. Under Les and Tilman, he never had a team in the luxury tax. Tilman is acting like a desperate lover who is trying to hold onto his partner who is manipulating him before he moves on. Tilman wants his son to be able to keep hanging out with the players and he wants them to be cool like Russ or Harden, he doesn't want to hang out with Mitchell Robinson or Christian Wood, he wants to hang out with the guys on the cover of GQ. Tilman is going to be an awful owner and Harden will be long retired and we'll still be dealing with this. Enjoy Harden for now and our second round exits because we are about to be a 9/10 seed for the next decade and for a while we won't even have picks.
Morey gets blame as well ever since he acquired James he has heavily involved him in decision making. And Tilman is fairly new so he’s cleaning up a lot of this mess created by morey and harden as they have been the constant for the last 13 years Tilman only 2 or 3 I believe.
Everything went to **** when Tilman bought. He has constantly lied and said he'll spend to win. We have traded away picks and every single move in the Tilman era has been money based. Even the Russ trade, it wasn't about Russ, it was about dumping CP3 because Tilman couldn't sell him as a must see event. Tilman did enough in his three years to show me who he is as an owner. Talent is leaving. Tilman cannot afford this team. He bought a team as a vanity project and didn't take into account that you don't just buy the team. There are serious expenses involved. There are taxes on the arena, there are hundreds of non-basketball related employees. There are expenses as mundane as power bills. He thought he paid 2.2 billion and the product pays for itself. Instead, he cheapened everything. Les was an animal rights activist who fought the Rodeo. One of Tilman's first changes to Toyota Center was putting up Rodeo posters. He is an arrogant billionaire with no tact. He can **** right off.
This is Texas rodeo is King...les wouldn’t know that because he isn’t from here. Secondly this team was already going to s$&@ when Tilman bought the team. When morey traded for cp3 that was the final swing and miss.
The Rodeo is like the NCAA. Completely monopolistic and a bunch of bullies. Tilman is the Rodeo personified.
Dude chill lol. Im eating my bacon right now and having steak for dinner lol. I’m just messing with you dude. But in all seriousness we can go back and forth about Tilman. But with James getting Lucas hired that should tell us everything we need to know about James. Maybe he feels like we had our chance and it went by..so he wants to just go through the motions on the back half of his career idk.
Did I miss the non twitter rumor source that Harden hand picked Lucas and said hire him or trade me? Or are we still dealing with scenarios posters just contrived in their heads based on their feelings?
Dwight? We’re talking about Dwight? We’re talking about winning and you’re talking about Dwight? Not even a real Superstar. Dwight. Maybe if Dwight didn’t insist on posting up and throwing line drive hook shots at the backboard every time he touched the ball (or just flat out turning the ball over), he could have coexisted better with Harden.
Touché but the point is and it’s true nobody wants to ply with James who is mr. dribble dribble dribble. And nobody wants to just stand in the corner 3 pt line waiting for James to pass the ball with 3 seconds left.
You have no idea about any of this and you are completely giving the blame to James. Like at all. The fact that other coaches are/were even in consideration is proof that he isnt forcing this.
You don't think Tilman is already doing this by running off D'Antoni and Morey, his two biggest benefactors in his career?
