Taiwan has a pretty big baseball following, how are the Astros deemed in that part of the world?

I feel good about Valdez today. I'd like to see us jump on Snell early.

Let's hope he's got his good stuff or at least can keep the Rays at bay by changing up his sequencing to keep them off-balance. Worried that they'll make adjustments, but hopefully Maldy/Strom can nurse us through today. Huge nerves....

    LFG 'stros!!

Same. I mean I'll certainly be pissed if we lose and will probably question every decision afterwards but we're playing w house money. At this point we've proven to anyone w a brain that you can hate us all you want, but the notion that we were only good bc we cheated has been thoroughly dismantled.

This is a great f***ing baseball. Get over it.

i said that after game 3. then the stros bounced back and won the last 2. In a way I want to believe Ill be fine if they happen to lose today, but I probably won't. proud of the stros at this point though. they continue to be the best team representing houston by miles. and much respect to correa and these pitchers who have stepped up when the lights have been the brightest. oh and losing to tb isn't much of a fault at all. damn good team over there from top to bottom. we saw that first hand last year and they built upon that

Astros wreck the rays then the Coogs wreck the Cougs. I will be ignoring my family for 6 hours. Should be interesting.

Astros just need to bring it tonight.

Snell was lucky in his first start. High traffic and the Rays were in the perfect position.

Tonight’s winner will represent the AL in the World Series.

Oh I am definitely going to have emotions, but I will feel the Astros represented themselves well, and showed that there is more to them, than the narrative that everyone outside of Houston wants to hang on them.

Happy to see Correa bumped up, but does anyone else think the Rays mess with their lineup too much? Choi has been their third best hitter in the postseason in terms of OPS and he's coming off a huge home run yesterday late in the game. But they're benching him for Diaz, whose OPS is almost half of Choi's and who's 2-11 in this series. And they have the guy batting fourth...

Yeah, I don't know why Choi is on the bench. His defense is great too with those gymnastics stretches at first base.

I watch on a tape delay, pause a lot, get up, do something, etc. It helps a little with the anticipation and anxiety. You just have to make sure to leave your phone alone the entire time.

I saw Correa's homer about 10 mins after it happened last night, but it was live to me.

Here's some facts I've compiled for today:

    1) Yankees are still, with the help of MLB, actively preventing the U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals from unsealing a letter stating it's “public release would cause substantial harm to an innocent non-party, the Yankees.”

    2) Yankees are watching this game from home despite having the largest payroll in baseball.

    3) Yankees were eliminated by a team who had 1/4th the payroll and a team who's entire payroll was eclipsed by the salaries of 2 Yankees relief pitchers.

    4) Dodgers are 1 game away from elimination and are quickly becoming the Buffalo Bills of baseball.

    5) The 4 teams still alive in the playoffs do not include the Yankees.

    6) The Commissioner's Trophy still says Houston Astros under 2017.

    7) There are more moons orbiting the Earth than the number of games the Yankees have left to play in 2020.
