While I agree with this, it is all dependent on him making money. The World Series win dramatically changed his wealth, and he's rewarded the Astros with an even higher payroll.
My favorite bit of this? At 4:00, slow motion close-up of Correa's face.. as he is about to start his trot around the bases, and then at 4:05, the slightest look over at (I assume) the pitcher, the look saying, 'You threw that fastball to ME? In THAT situation?' .. Man that is the sort of thing which should be striking terror in the hearts of opposing pitchers and managers for the rest of this post-season. 6 more wins guys!
My respect for McCugh just went to 11. https://heavy.com/sports/2015/10/co...y-wedding-family-houston-astros-mlb-baseball/ As the story goes, Collin proposed in the middle of a highway and Ashley only accepted after he asked her “to be his Beyonce.” The pair were married on October 3rd when they were both 22 years old and have been together through MLB drafts, trades, moves to the minors and, now, the postseason.
5 hours til gametime...i've been thinking of game 6 all day...can't wait...please keep the magic going
Why? Aside from Altuve being Altuve on the base paths, why do you feel he needs a day off from playing the field.
Im sure it was. Whoever runs that scoreboard for the Padres, does a really good job. They find interesting tidbits about the player and post them during their abs. Them looking back at some old Astrodome footage, wouldnt surprise me in the least.
Totally with you guys, it's a weekend, so looks like I gotta wake up at 6am to watch the game. Totally psyched since watching Correa's homer. Maldy always seems like one of those guys who although his offensive numbers may not be the best, comparatively he is pretty clutch and gets his hits when they matter most. Kershaw seems like a good example of how clutch vs. nonclutch makes a big difference.
Been working in Taiwan for ~17years, but I'm a native Houstonian So don't accuse me of being a LOF, YOF or whatever. I joked with my friends the best thing about Lin being signed to Houston was that I could have easy local access to watch games on TV
100% the Trashtros lose tonight. I love how they're getting your hopes up. Just wait and hold this L. Tampa is going to the WS tonight boys!
This looks fake. 54 really? I find it hard to believe that the Rangers have hit 54 postseason homers. P.S. I am only partly joking. That seems like a lot for how little they've been in the playoffs.
Gonna have to FF through this next game, I just can't take the anxiety of a pitch by pitch with these close games. Not gonna lie after Johnson gave up the homer I almost just cut it off. These games are killing me.
